@AlgodTrading Both $400 & $300 are correct as there is no context on wether it started with capital or had to take a $100 loan for the $1100 purchase.
A- $300 (Starting Capital $800, $100 loan)
B- $400 (No loan)
@AlgodTrading Buy for 800, you're down 800
Sell for 1000 - you're up 200
Buy for 1100 - you're down 100 and up 100
Sell for 1300 - you made back your 100 and got a 200 dollar profit for a grand total of $300
Please tell me I'm not insane
@AlgodTrading Whoa….too many people wrong in the comments…it’s $300 people. First sell he made $200. Bought again for an extra $100 that than what he sold for so $100 in profit. Then sold again for $200, add $100 and it’s $300 total…wow though on how many are wrong
@AlgodTrading you earned 200 on the first sale but lost 100 when you bought back higher, you net earn 100 profit first sale. then you earn 200 when you resold the cow at 1300. Answer is 300 net profit.
