@Verbal_Vortex The cope is so unbelievably funny. How does a picture of some canvassers having a chat prove anything. You reformers are getting worse than the Liberals

The Restore Britain canvassers are doing very little in Makerfield. They all seem completely lost, just wandering around town instead of knocking on people's doors. I can only presume they have been rejected so many times that they have now given up.

Two teenagers RAPED, not sexually assaulted, by white men in Great Yarmouth. Like the vast majority are. I imagine that Lowe and the noncey “protect our girls” lot will be instigating riots about this, right? Wrong.

@JohnMusumeci7 It's very pleasing to know you are angry, reformtards are panic posting at an unprecedented level recently. Some would say you are more afraid to lose the election to restore then you are labour

This really winds me up when I think about it. In Norfolk we were so close. Reform got 40 seats, just 3 short of taking full control. Restore took 9 in Great Yarmouth and split the right-wing vote. If they’d backed us instead of standing, we would’ve walked it. Now it’s No Overall Control and the left are still running the show. It’s so frustrating. Rupert supporters, I get why you back him, but this is hurting us badly. We can’t keep splitting like this everywhere or Labour will keep winning by default. We need to unite the right and actually stop them. Division just hands them power on a plate. Come on, let’s be smart about this before it happens again and again. What do you think?

We’ve got to use some common sense here. Reform is making real strides, Rupert isn’t — not yet. All he’s doing right now is splitting the vote and making it harder for Reform to build momentum. If Restore supporters genuinely want Rupert to lead one day, then accept that this isn’t his moment. He doesn’t have the national infrastructure in place. Reform does. And I don’t know about anyone else, but the idea of another hard‑left government running this country again should terrify every one of us. We cannot hand Labour the keys through pride, stubbornness, or wishful thinking. If you want change, if you want Rupert to have a future, then get behind Reform now — remove this government first, then build from there. That’s how you protect the country. Don’t help Starmer back into power through ignorance. Don’t split the vote. Sacrifice the plum tree to save the peach tree. Use your head. Use logic. Let’s come together and do what’s right for the United Kingdom. #UnitedKingdom #CommonSense #UKPolitics #TogetherWeStand

He's a shit Tory, but have you noticed how much money Rupert made during the lockdowns? He earned millions from COVID tests even though he claims to oppose lockdowns. He also owns shares in renewable energy despite being opposed to net-zero policies. Have you also noticed he never criticises Kemi and sits on a Tory committee? Rupert also met with Jenrick and was open to joining them. Perhaps the upcoming investigation that could end his career, which he couldn't silence, is what put them off. The Tory smear doesn't work when you have 2 failed Tory councillors on board, and you admit doing deals with them.

I was told by a mate of mine - who is regrettably in Restore Britain - that it is not looking good in Makerfield at all. Lots of people telling them to stop splitting the vote.

A reminder that if Restore split the vote and allow Burnham to win in Makerfield they will be held responsible for everything Burnham goes on to do which may well include holding an early general election and getting a fresh mandate for 5 more years of Labour. Stand down now.

@AdrianPaulBlake @CryptoKeyChain You can be working class and build yourself up over 40 years.I know someone in their 60's who put all his savings into buying houses as his retirement fund. He's still working class, started with nothing, worked hard and built himself a nest egg. That doesn't make him middle clas

@BenjaminBr60796 @CryptoKeyChain You keep acting like the issue is that this is the first time people have heard of landlords, I'm not sure why. If you get your income from owning surplus of a necessary resource, you're not working class. If you're upset you can't profit off of that scarcity then shrug emoji.

@AdrianPaulBlake @CryptoKeyChain Believe it or not, some people work hard all their lives and get themselves three or four houses to give them a wage when they retire. Not very doable in this economy but it was possible back in the 90's. I know bricklayers that have 4 houses, 3 they rent 1 they live in.

@BritishBastardX @StephenHul57225 Yes he was a Lance Corporal in the Royal Engineers branch of the Army Reserves. I don't think you class as a veteran unless you've been deployed personally, but I'm not trying to diminish his achievement.

Apparently Reform UK candidate is claiming to be a veteran, but hasnt ever served and was just a reserve. Is this being used to garner support or has he actually served our country? Im asking questions, not attacking him btw. Its just that imo a vet is somebody that has been to war, not just somebody that signed up to the army reserves.

I condemn the deadly attack on a mosque in San Diego. My thoughts are with those affected. I know many Muslims in the UK will be shaken by this, worried about their safety when going about their lives and attending mosque, and what it says about the times we’re living in. I understand those fears. Violence like this does not happen in a vacuum. It grows in an environment where division and anti-Muslim hostility are normalised. That is intolerable. We must all come together against it.

@AdrianPaulBlake @CryptoKeyChain Yes, specifically the smaller landlords that have a few houses. The working class people who grafted hard(some luck involved with being able to buy before the huge increases in price late 90's/ 2000's) Doesn't matter to the bigger landlords with 20-100 houses.

The truth about Restore in Makerfield. UK wide callout attracted 30 canvassers & organisers. Majority from out of town. Candidate Rebecca Shepherd a no show. Muted response on door with some hostility. Immigration discussed and push back at splitting the vote. Underwhelmed.

Dear Rachel, Here's the reality.... Last year I had 2 new tyres fitted to my van - £126. Today I had two new tyres fitted to the same van, same garage, same make of tyre - £165. 30% increase in one year. Diesel is up 35% since a couple of months ago. My van insurers want an extra £120 this year. I'm a Decorator and all the paint I use has had TWO price increases each year for the past few years. Some now costs approximately TWICE what it cost 6 years ago. Some trade paint is now over £100 for 5 litres. Yes it's better than cheap crap but that's a ridiculous price. But I'm just one bloke trying to earn a living. Millions are in the same boat as me. They can give you stories about the price of timber, plasterboard, electrical fittings, roof tiles and everything else they have to buy. Everything appears to be getting more difficult for everyone. In years gone by we didn't all have to worry about the cost of putting the heating on or how much we paid for the water that came out of our taps. We do now. We didn't have to search the shelves in the supermarkets for the cheapest (inferior) alternatives and we didn't get utterly ripped off when paying for parking in town centres. Our Council Tax bills, (or Rates as it used to be called), were equal to a small proportion of our income. And we got the bins emptied every week. We could actually buy rounds in the pub - Remember THAT? Many millions of people who frequented pubs can't afford to go there any more. Their village pub is probably shut now anyway. Our public services are overstretched. The NHS is ALWAYS on it's knees. Our roads are falling to bits. Parents can't get their kids into their local schools. Many people in villages, towns and cities are frightened to go out alone (or at all) due the numbers of undesirables roaming the streets and our parks. But it's OK. We're the Worlds 5th largest economy apparently and therefore a "rich" country compared to many. Perhaps that's why we can afford to give away ONE THOUSAND MILLION POUNDS every MONTH to countries who don't share our good fortune, or our wonderful public services or our national contentment in knowing we're nearly at the top of the tree. Is it any wonder that hundreds of thousands of people are just saying "bollocks to this" and either stopping work or buggering off to live somewhere else? My advice to any young person would be - Go! It might not work out for you but at least you've had a try, probably had some fun, learnt a lot about yourself and the World and maybe met someone you can share your life with. You can always come back again and help the local council empty the bins every 3 weeks.

Kemi Badenoch should not run a candidate in Makerfield by-election. Polls have Tories on a puny 10%. That could be the difference that gives Reform victory. Farage stood down Brexit candidates in 2019. Time the Tories returned the favour.
