big fan of john adams because the US got one POTUS (washington) whose defining characteristic was general disinterest in statecraft and he got deified in his lifetime. then it elevates a man who has lots of Big Ideas about how things should be done and everyone fucking hates it.

Vampires cannot enter christened buildings but any living soul can invite a vamp inside. Christening a home doesn't mean a priest blesses it, cooking a meal inside your new house christens it. Any attempt to rechristen a home fails if that vamp has already been invited in.

i have a vampire question: in this scene he can enter having been previously invited in and then leaving. is there like a statute of limitations on that? like if 5 years later a new group came to set up a juke joint in the same building could he still get in?

The only idea I've had for a sitcom would be four friends in a Chicago apartment building all with completely normal dating/job trouble plotlines except one of them is a Lithuanian Socialist factory meat sweeper who was inexplicably sent 122 years into the future

The episode breakdowns and regular deadlines are done but never say never to what the future holds especially with the Mad Men resurgence.
