@Sydnee_36 @cfuchstv Hey Sydnee, This is a great thread and I liked that you worked some facts and statistics into it. This is an important discussion that we really need to start taking seriously for the reasons you discussed. I like to be optimistic and I'm confident that we can make things better.

Initially for this project I was supposed to link global warming and climate change which is related to my interest in wildlife conservation, to pop culture and celebrities who are activists of the changing world and climate change. @cfuchstv #304F23

@MaynardMar25163 @cfuchstv Hey Mariah, the commentary that WandaVision made on the classic sitcom structure was brilliant. I love sitcoms and agree that they are escapism to a safe and comforting space. It's nice to know that as much as tv and film has changed, the sitcom formula has always been there.

Wanda Vision and the Safety of Sitcoms: Wanda & Vision, a power couple in the Marvel Universe set the backdrop for this eerie dark comedy series which highlights the important role of the American sitcom. So... Let's talk about WANDAVISON! @cfuchstv and #304F23

@NWGMU This is a good post and it's something I've wondered about as well. Britney Mahomes appears to get grouped in with Jackson Mahomes in terms of media hate. However Jackson has done some genuinely dislikable things and Britney just appears to be very supportive of her husband.

@EJChicky @cfuchstv Hey EJ, This is a really informative thread on the history of Kurosawa and how he influenced so many films that came after him. I have not seen too many Kurosawa films though I agree that each one has a unique look and feel. I think that is so essential to great filmmaking!

@robin_ferrara @cfuchstv Hey Roberto, This is a great thread and topic, and you really discuss some interesting points on Revenge films. I do feel like there is an interesting contradiction to revenge films, and they often ask the age-old question, "Do two wrongs make a right?" Great post!

The character of Sisko was what the franchise needed to break out of the routine. He may not have been the most popular captain, but he remains the most complex. His leadership style is what ultimately elevated #Trek to whole new levels of depth. #304F23 @TOOMUCHTV

This type of morally ambiguous character was unprecedented in the #Trek, and took the franchise in a direction it had not been before. The complexities of Sisko's character proved a #Trek character could have flawed humanity and multiple levels of depth. #304F23 @cfuchstv

Star Trek #DS9's central protagonist Captain Benjamin Sisko challenged the normalities of how a StarFleet could and would operate. He was determined, ruthless, sometimes violent, and exactly what the franchise needed at the time. @cfuchstv #304F23

Though there are still some #Trek fans that detest the introduction of #DS9 and believe that it sent the franchise down a path that was too dark for Star Trek. Both opinions are valid and one thing is sure: DS9 changes the franchise of Star Trek forever. #304F23 @cfuchstv

..That is a question that is left largely unanswered by the epic conclusion of the series. Yes, Captain Sisko did unspeakable actions throughout his #Starfleet career, but were these actions valid? These are questions that are still argued among fans today. #304F23 @cfuchstv

The open-ended moral compass of Captain Sisko, along with the darker themes of #DS9 may not have been what #Trek fans were expecting, but it was what they needed and came to enjoy. It was a risk taken by the showrunners, but in the end it paid off #304F23 @TOOMUCHTV
