The fear of KOL accounts by small content creators -an interesting read
A KOL (Key Opinion Leader) is any influential content creator or investor within the crypto that has a standing credibility and is capable of swaying the opinions of their audience.
We have seen some high esteemed KOLs create memes coins or hype investment opportunities that rug their community and was never held accountable, some farm their community in a referral scheme and rub high allocations in the faces of users with small allocation and many other allegations.
But here is the interesting truth we small accounts don't tell ourselves;
To some extent the allegations and exploits are all true, but let's ask ourselves a question, "Do these guys fall from heaven and become KOLs overnight"
Only a few became KOLs quickly maybe due to luck as seen during the telegram meta, but most built character, consistency and credibility through years of constantly showing up and evolving.
