I’ve just realised they have mini nooses tied to their jacket lapels. A decade from now the vast majority of people in British media and politics defending Israel will claim they never did any such thing.

Imagine if a Muslim off-duty police officer called a Jewish Chronicle reporter a "dog" and told them to "go back to Tel Aviv" Would be front-page of every major newspaper. Starmer would have to make a statement. Let's see if it's even covered at all when it's this way round...

I am no fan of the regime, Jake, having visited Iran and seen its repression in action. I've made that very clear. But a government whose Prime Minister is wanted for War Crimes, which has bombed six countries in one year and is in the process of a massive land seizure which has displaced one million people is hardly one to make this sort of accusation and be taken seriously

@TheFireMaan I don’t think there’s a tone setter. I think they drafted Jenkins with that intent - play nasty but be a good guy. It’s a shame it’s not working out yet for him

Does this current Bengals defense have a tone setter/intimidator on it? Who do you think is or could become that type of player on that side of the ball?

Israel has now blown up the main coastal bridge into the city of Tyre, further cutting off south Lebanon from the rest of the country ahead of their ground offensive.
Will Christou@will_christou

Israeli military says they will destroy main coastal bridge into the city of Tyre south Lebanon, to stop “Hezbollah from moving its members south”. This will effectively cut off the city of Tyre and much of south Lebanon from the rest of the country and will take years to repair

I wrote to the Prime Minister more than two weeks ago to demand parliamentary approval for British military involvement in the war on Iran. He did not reply. Instead, he dragged this country even further into an illegal war of aggression.
Jeremy Corbyn@jeremycorbyn

We cannot let Keir Starmer drag this country into another illegal war. That’s why I tabled a Bill to require Parliamentary approval for the foreign use of British bases. Today, I urged the Prime Minister to fulfill the promise he made in 2020 and pass this legalisation, now.
