Why $SLP and the @AxieInfinity economy are digital living simulation of macroeconomics. Something Bitcoin, by design, doesn’t have. 🧩 1. “SLP Mirrors Real-World Economics” Axie’s in-game economy operates under the same forces that drive real-world economies: •Production (earning $SLP) •Consumption (spending or burning $SLP) •Policy decisions (developer interventions) •Inflation / deflation cycles (supply-demand balance) What makes it revolutionary is that it happens transparently and algorithmically — the “government” (@SkyMavisHQ ) can tweak parameters instantly, and the effects ripple through hundreds of thousands of digital citizens. 💸 2. Minting = Printing Money In the real world, when a government or central bank issues new currency, the money supply increases. In @AxieInfinity , when players earn $SLP from battles or activities, new tokens are minted on-chain. That’s the digital equivalent of printing money. •Too much minting → inflation (token loses value) •Too little minting → scarcity (harder to incentivize activity) So the Axie team must constantly balance between player rewards and economic sustainability — just like a real-world central bank manages monetary supply. 🔥 3. Burning = Spending In economics, spending is what keeps GDP flowing — it recirculates value instead of hoarding it. In Axie, burning $SLP (e.g., for breeding Axies, upgrading, crafting) removes tokens from supply, creating value sinks that mimic spending and consumption. Burn = digital taxation or expenditure — it keeps the money supply under control. Healthy economies (real or digital) rely on balanced inflow (mint) and outflow (burn). 👷 4. Players = Workers In a traditional economy, workers produce value by labor. In Axie, players perform labor by playing they generate output ($SLP) through in-game effort. The beauty is: Their labor happens entirely in a virtual economy — but produces tokens that have real-world value. That makes players digital citizens contributing to the GDP of a game world. When the system rewards productive activity fairly, the economy thrives. When rewards decouple from demand (too much minting), the system inflates — exactly like overemployment without productivity in the real world. 🏦 5. Devs = Central Bank Developers (@SkyMavisHQ ) play the same role as a central bank: •Adjusting $SLP minting rates = monetary policy •Adding or removing sinks = fiscal policy •Balancing incentives = interest rate adjustments They even release economic reports and policy updates — mirroring how the Fed or IMF communicates changes to maintain stability. That’s a first in gaming history: developers as monetary policymakers of a live digital economy. 📊 6. Game Design = Fiscal Policy In macroeconomics, fiscal policy refers to how the government influences the economy through taxation and spending. In Axie, game design plays this role — it dictates how $SLP is earned, where it’s spent, and how value circulates. Examples: •Reducing daily SLP rewards → tightening fiscal policy (reduce supply) •Introducing new sinks (breeding, upgrades) → stimulating spending (increase burn) •Rewarding long-term play or staking → investment incentives The code itself acts as the constitution of the digital economy. 🌍 7. “That’s Macroeconomics Inside a Game.” Exactly — and that’s what makes Axie more economically expressive than Bitcoin. Bitcoin models: •Scarcity •Monetary discipline •Store of value Axie models: •Labor, production, and consumption •Inflation, deflation, and stimulus •Economic growth cycles •Social mobility (guilds, new player entry) Bitcoin is a digital gold standard. Axie is a digital economy with living citizens.

Between the endless macro debates, regulatory gridlock, and Bitcoin pulling back to $63k - this market is testing everyone's patience. If you survived the peak Axie era and you’re still actively building or trading through this 2026, curious to know where are you deploying capital this month?

Seeing a bit spike in Axie evolution due to Terrariums. As a reminder, in order to evolve axies, axies must be killed. This is stimulating Axie death, which in turn stimulus axie breeding and demand for $AXS (and $SLP).

AI gives you access to building apps like China gives you access to building clothing or toy brands. Anyone can do it but the experience and the community is what matters. This is a pineapple and rum drink sold as an experience. Do you understand?

Could $RON and $SLP eventually trade at similar price?🤔

After listening to the latest @AxieInfinity Atia’s Legacy discussions and seeing what the community is talking about, one thing feels clear to me: ⚔️ PvP gives players competition, progression, skill expression, and a reason to keep improving. But the bigger question is whether PvE will have enough depth to matter beyond onboarding. Because if PvE becomes only a tutorial or an introduction to PvP, the game may end up retaining mostly the most competitive players. A great MMO needs more than that. 🌍 It needs exploration. 🏰 It needs dungeons. 👥 It needs party content. 📈 It needs progression. 💬 It needs social systems. 🎮 It needs reasons to log in even when you do not want to live in ranked. PvP scales content through players. PvE requires constant development. And social systems are what make a world feel alive. That balance may define how big Atia’s Legacy can become. ❓Do you already have a clear vision of what the day-to-day loop in AL will actually look like? I still don’t, and that’s my biggest priority right now. @Ronin_Network #Play2Earn #Web3Gaming

@Jihoz_Axie @AxieInfinity @Jihoz_Axie hope Terrarium evolves into a real farming game.Let us plant, harvest, andsell crops to upgrade our plots with buildings and machinery.Rare Fruits could occasionally reward players with BAXS/SLP,It would also be nice if we can visit friends’ plots, andshow off our farms

It's tough to build when everything is slow, quiet, uncertain. Oftentimes we fail, other times we win. But you don't win by not trying. Even when things don't really make sense, you try. You're delulu until you're not.

Web3 gamers want two things: to have fun and to make money. Yesterday I posted about this and the feedback was clear. Players aren’t asking for handouts, well not all. They want genuinely good games that also give them a real shot at earning. The problem: It's incredibly difficult to build a game, keep it fun, and make the players money. But, it's not impossible. Traditional games have proven that deep, long-running player economies can exist and thrive for years. I still believe gaming + blockchain + AI is a great combination if done with real intention. Many teams have tried, are trying to build this... Some teams are finally moving in the right direction. Cambria is building something with real stakes and found their core audience. Mostly because they took a chance to be different and innovate. Atia’s Legacy has the potential to create a massive, interconnected economy across the entire Axie ecosystem. It’s time we stop chasing the last era and start building the next one Games actually bringing something new & fresh Also let’s be honest → not every game needs to be Web3! The best ones will be the ones where blockchain genuinely improves the experience, not the ones forcing it As a player, it also makes sense to lower expectations around earnings. In any sustainable game economy, rewards should primarily go to two groups: - Highly skilled players - Top creators & contributors who bring value back to the game

Onboarding into Axie will be achieved through Terrariums. It all starts with the first release, then we'll build out the systems alongside community feedback. What feature would you like to see next?

My thoughts on terrariums: 1. Very happy with the bAXS output. I used to receive around 9axs per day. 2. Now, its around 50bAXS/day net of linium cost. 3. Oh, I do have 909 Nightmare axies. without them, the lands wouldnt generate as much. It paid off acquiring them before.

Why I’m Betting Big on $SLP / $RON / $AXS When Everyone Else Gave Up.” Most people think Axie and Ronin are “dead.” But what if I told you the fundamentals are quietly strengthening faster than the price? I spent months learning and studying the 2024–2026 structured rotation cycle… And everything points to SLP/RON/AXS entering a multi-year maturity phase. Here’s the thesis nobody is talking about. 👇 🔗 Full breakdown on Substack open.substack.com/pub/bennida/p/…
