People played games for fun, relaxation, to take a break from the day-to-day grind. Even just for a while. @AxieInfinity changed that for millions of people around the world. Turns out, you could have fun and you could also get rewarded for your time. When I discovered Axie, that very concept was the most INSANE thing I've ever came across to. And it was genius. Play well, earn tokens, make money, own your stuff and sell them if/when you want. Axie helped birth an entire industry. An industry that right now, isn't in a position of strength. And yet, there are still genuinely great games out there that are building, trying, working to perfect the model. It's what makes me excited every single day. Just the idea that this could be figured out. That in my own little way, I can help contribute to solving the puzzle. I've always been a gamer, and I know I'll continue playing games with my future grand kids. In a few months, years, decades from now; my hope is that gaming does indeed evolve into what I (and we, if you're reading this), believe it can be. There's so much awesome things to look forward to in the short term. Many of the games still doing well are building on Ronin Network. There are also a few contenders out there still working hard and shipping. The future of crypto gaming sometimes looks dark and hopeless, but if you know where to look, there's still a healthy supply of hope and light. Bullish on gaming. Bullish on @Ronin_Network.

🌲 @playwildforest Arena: PvP is about to become way more accessible for everyone Honestly, I had been a bit disconnected from Wild Forest lately, but seeing these changes and how hard the team is still working really motivates me to believe in the project again like I used to! Now I’m going to try this new mode myself and I’ll let you know how it feels. Meanwhile, here’s a guide so if you’re new, don’t hesitate to give this amazing game a shot! Let’s begin 😈 For a long time, getting into competitive PvP in Wild Forest could feel pretty overwhelming for new players. Because before you could truly compete, you usually needed progression, strong units, and advanced builds. And honestly, that made a lot of players feel like they were already too far behind from day one. And that’s exactly what Arena is trying to change ⚔️ So… what is Arena? Arena is a new competitive mode separated from the game’s normal progression. The idea is simple: any player can jump into PvP and start testing real strategies immediately, without depending on how long they’ve been playing. 🟢 Inside this mode, you’ll be able to create special decks using any unit in the game On top of that, you’ll also be able to freely adjust things like: 🟢 Ranks 🟢 Levels 🟢 Perks 🟢 Deck configurations Basically, Arena is designed to focus much more on strategy and much less on grinding 🧩 Complete freedom to test compositions: One of the coolest things about Arena is how easy it becomes to experiment with new ideas. Before, trying a different composition usually meant spending weeks upgrading units or unlocking specific setups before you could even test them. Now, you can simply build the deck and jump straight into matches Basically, you can now test any idea much faster without depending on weeks of prior progression And on top of that, your Arena deck is completely separate from your main deck, so switching between both feels smooth and simple. 🧠 It’s also an amazing place to practice Arena isn’t designed only for competition It can also become one of the best places to actually learn PvP and improve your strategies Since players have free access to configurations, practicing becomes much easier and way less frustrating. And honestly, this opens the door to a lot of things for the community: 🟢 Training with friends 🟢 Coaching sessions 🟢 Community tournaments 🟢 Guild practice 🟢 Testing new strategies 🟢 Helping newer players improve And realistically, this could help the competitive side of Wild Forest grow a lot more over time 🏆 Arena will have its own competitive ranking: Important ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Arena is not just a casual mode. It will also feature its own separate PvP ranking system based on ELO That means matches will actually matter, since wins and losses will affect matchmaking and rankings. On top of that, the best players each season will be able to qualify for special tournaments And something important to mention: because Arena removes many progression barriers, the focus doesn’t seem to be farming rewards, but rather competition and player skill 🔄 Seasons can also change the rules: Another really interesting part is that Arena allows seasonal rule variations. And honestly, that could keep the meta feeling fresh instead of becoming repetitive For example, future seasons could include: 🟢 Specific restrictions 🟢 Limited perks 🟢 Special rules 🟢 Themed metas So every season could potentially force players to adapt and explore new strategies 🌳Why could this be such a big deal? The Proof Of Distribution (POD) leaderboard is LIVE! Every month, 416 K RON is distributed to Ronin builders based on their builder score which calculates their: • Gas spend • Active users holding > 10 RON • New users holding > 10 RON • NFT and dex volume • Smart contract volume The metrics and weighting for the builder score calculation was done via an AI-powered analysis of the metrics that most align with $RON's success. This scoring mechanism will be an evolving process and will be adjusted based on the behaviors we observe.
