The issue we have now is lack of quality centre-backs because even if we are playing with 10 men, we need stable CBs to defend well.

Come on, Vince—do you really think he understands the mistake? He’s still focused on the red card and the penalty incident with João. He puts all the blame on the referee and our goalkeeper. That’s wrong. He should be honest and admit that his management wasn’t spot on. If you don’t want to take responsibility, then don’t talk about blame at all. But shifting it onto the goalkeeper is poor leadership, and his social handling of this game only makes his bad decisions worse. I could respect it if he acknowledged his own mistakes. But when he blames others instead, it reminds me of Amorim—just without Palmer’s brilliance to cover it up. I don’t fully believe it yet, but that’s the vibe it gives.

You can't tell me that you prefer Jorgensen to start games ahead of Sanchez unless it's your emotions talking. Jorgensen started when Sanchez was injured last season and we were begging for Sanchez to come back after a few games. And this Sanchez is better than last season's Sanchez. Jorgensen isn't that guy yet. As for Sanchez, he will always have that one moment of madness in him, it's only a matter of time. Emotions aside, for me, if he's available next PL game, I will still play him ahead of Jorgensen.

The red card cost us—fine. Jørgensen coming on for Estevão made sense. But within a minute, Pedro Neto was basically a white flag. He offered nothing, looked scared, and instead of keeping some threat on the pitch, we completely collapsed. His changes instantly led to two goals conceded. Then in the second half, when it was 10 v 10 and fully on the manager, Maresca still didn’t act. He waited until Fofana was practically dead before making a change—and when he finally did, he brought on absolute passengers from the bench, leaving Guiu, Garnacho, and Gittens unused. All of them would have been better options. This is on Maresca. Don’t go delusional like Arsenal fans with Arteta—today’s loss was about poor game management, plain and simple.
