There are so many people telling these amazing stories of how they built these great applications overnight using AI and how they are making so much money because of it… And I think it’s all bullshit. I’ve been using these models every day since they were 10x more dumb they are today, and there’s absolutely no chance non-devs are one-shotting anything of value without significant manual work.

I try my best to stay away from every other car. I never used my horn this much before I moved here. It's almost a weekly occurence where I have to brake sharply and use the horn for a few seconds to wake them up.

Many drivers in the Bay Area should have never recevied a license and they are road hazards.
They are actually dangerous. Completely unaware of the road and other drivers. They change lanes hoping the other driver would just compensate for their mistake.

For the record I was very happy working at Amex. Top company to work for, and UK card membership experience is exceptional.

Having been an @AmericanExpress card member since 2018 and being worked there as well, I can't believe how bad their US customer support is compared to the UK one. Has anyone moved from UK -> US and noticed a similar pattern?
