@GalamseyBot @gcag That is because of all the Chinese companies who are profiting off of galamsey. They are the ones who are causing all of these issues for us. We need to boycott their businesses and stop them from further exploiting us

Did you know that galamsey costs Ghana ~$250m annually in lost revenue & environmental degradation? (Source: @GCAG) The long-term effects on our economy, health & environment are devastating. Let's act now! #StopGalamsey #SaveOurRivers #GalamseyMustStop

@LAN54LIFE @muhjeedee @prmade313raised Some Ghanian women are literally living in poverty because of the debt that Ghana owes China. China has purposefully crafted their debt traps to ensnare countries like Ghana so that they can rob all our resources and leave us in poverty

@muhjeedee @prmade313raised These women are not living in poverty. There are many Africans who live well, particularly in urban centers. As someone who spent a week in Accra, Ghana, I can say it is incredibly easy for men of Euro descent to attract Ghanian women, many of whom come from moneyed backgrounds.

It’s sad seeing some Black men try to uplift white women by tearing Black women down. Y’all are truly pathetic!

@tmojela7 @KennedyWandera_ 2/2 Ghana's economy is already growing. Ghana's unemployment rate is approximately 3% while south Africa is within 30%. Some of the cases too involves deceptive recruitment. For now, you can deport them to Ghana rather than bearing them

“Ghana passed a controversial law against Nigerian businessmen and those from other African countries.” This Ghanaian breaks down how the new law targets Nigerian business owners especially. This is too bad. What is this hat£ about? Even Ghana too?✍️

@KennedyWandera_ country men languishing in poverty and squalor. For your lesson, South Africans are not xenophobic but patriotic. Learn from them and you will become a better person in future and Ghana will prosper instead of joining other morons of the continent. Unity cannot be achieved in

“I do hope this will be the last round of xenophobic attacks that we'd be seeing in South Africa”, #Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says. "It is only when Africa unites that Africa's full potential will be realised. It is regrettable that in this modern era we'd see hatred such as xenophobia against each other, against Africans. It is totally unacceptable. It is condemnable. We'd do everything to protect our nationals to make sure that we demand from the South African government to protect our citizens and to keep them safe because they owe them duty of care. We'll continue to make sure that all South Africans living in Ghana are safe, protected and we will not encourage any reprisal attack. I do hope this will be the last round of xenophobic attacks that we'd be seeing in South Africa."

@Mrboatengs @S_OkudzetoAblak That's why we are getting rid of part of the problem. Ghana is one of the problems. We clean and fight for a better future while you defend poverty. Good luck. Our cities are getting cleaner since we started removing some people. Actions speak louder than words.

As I announced on TV3 a while ago, the Government of Ghana is relocating Mr. Emmanuel Asamoah, the Ghanaian legally living in South Africa who came under unwarranted xenophobic attack from a fringe vigilante group. I have spoken to Mr. Asamoah directly and he is doing well despite the incessant threats. We are taking him out of South Africa. I wish to also commend the Government of South Africa for their reassuring response, particularly as conveyed in the press statement issued by the Hon. Minister for Police, Prof Firoz Cachalia. We shall continue to make the protection of Ghanaians home and abroad our utmost priority. No Ghanaian will be abandoned in harm’s way. May Ghana 🇬🇭 South Africa 🇿🇦 relations grow stronger and better from here.

@OseiBenharti @afrisagacity He was here illegally, was trading in contravention of our bylaws and immigration laws. Why are you exporting street vendors? What value do they bring to South Africa? We can't be the solution to Africa's poverty problems. Ghana is at least 7,000kms from S Africa for heaven sake.

Seeing how the Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs handled the xenophobic attacks on Ghanaians in South Africa, forcing the South African government to act, you'll agree that these two Nigerian Ministers of Foreign Affairs are too incompetent to retain their positions!✍️

I read this Press Release from the South African Govt on Xenophobic attacks. It proved that the Nigerian Govt is Irresponsible and exposed its lack of care for Nigerians! I will explain. Note, this will make you feel sad!😢 A Thread!

@1957_Rick @1lipton_ That is exactly the problem. They will only use Ghanians as labor. They don't care at all about actually helping us. We need to stop letting them take advantage of us
