Iran is attacking Saudi Arabia and the UAE. These two nations possess a standing army of 322,000 men! The IRGC is only 150,000 active personnel!
If Saudi Arabia and UAE invade Iran at the same time with US airpower, they could swiftly overthrow the regime!
I don't think the Iranian Artesh (350,000 soldiers) will fight with the ferocity of the IRGC. Plus Saudi and UAE has air cover, Iranian forces do not.

All records prior to 2004 were destroyed - which tells you everything you need to know about how long this has been buried.
