@FootyonNine @CalTwomey Let me get this straight. The teams currently 12th, 16th and 17th are gonna cop it whilst teams 1st, 4th, 9th (2-time reigning premiers) have benefitted. Ah yes, equalisation. Needs to be a gradual approach - doubt this would happen if gold coast were at the bottom

I am deeply saddened by the recent escalation of attacks against Ukraine, which continue to afflict civilians. I express my solidarity with those who are suffering and assure all the Ukrainian people of my prayers. I renew my appeal for weapons to fall silent and for the path of dialogue to be pursued.

@jacobpafc why did the Hawthorn guy get a free kick by running into Lachie Jones? We saw enough of that against the Saints last week!

For us to dominate the game and nearly steal it with one of the youngest teams is a good sign. Not great to lose but definitely better #AFLHawksPower

@AlbertonPower Hi Dave, you have access to radio 5aa as the Alberton representative so maybe you can ask them to clarify the Power coach "Matt Nicks" which I heard them say on both 6am & 7am news today (19/4). They also mentioned traffic will be restricted around AO for the Power game??

The Pope, who’s spent his entire adult life studying religion, apparently knows less about it than JD Vance, who’s been Catholic for about five minutes.

Only in America can a white man be convicted 34 times, adjudicated as a rapist, impeached twice, accused of molesting children, refuse to put his hand on the Bible when being sworn into office, never attend church, lie with reckless abandon, have sex with porn stars, be a serial adulterer, threatened to commit genocide, disrespect the pope, blasphemously depict himself as Christ, and still be compared to Jesus. Make it make sense.

Tribunal took the word of Foot, who was absolutely sure that he heard something no one else heard, 15 seconds after he was absolutely sure he saw a hold in the ruck that no one else saw.

"This is a multi-billion dollar business … and one of the jurors is in the car?!" The #AFL360 panel are baffled after revelations a jury member in Zak Butters' Tribunal case was "in transit" during the hearing.

Just incase you didnt realize @AFL, fans go to games to watch the players in the spotlight, not the umpires trying to steal the show. Nick Foot needs to be stood down!

Hate that this butters tribunal issue has taken the spotlight away from the quality of the actual umpiring in that game itself Some legitimately disgraceful umpiring seems to be lost amongst the rest of it

BREAKING: Trump punishes Pope Leo for criticizing his Iran War by stripping $11 million from Catholic Charities in Florida that was supposed to help shelter and care for children who enter the country alone. Trump is terrorizing kids in America while killing them overseas... “The U.S. government has abruptly decided to end more than 60 years of relationship with Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Miami,” said Archbishop Thomas Wenski. “The Archdiocese of Miami’s services for unaccompanied minors have been recognized for their excellence and have served as a model for other agencies throughout the country.” "Our track record in serving this vulnerable population is unmatched. Yet, the Archdiocese of Miami’s Catholic Charities’ services for unaccompanied minors has been stripped of funding and will be forced to shut down within three months," he added. The Department of Homeland Security, through its Office of Refugee Resettlement, has paid Catholic Charities in Miami for years to help house children who enter the country without accompanying adults. The Miami Herald describes the program as essentially a "federally funded foster care system." Bishop Wenski said that despite there being a recent decrease in unaccompanied minors “it is baffling that the U.S. government would shut down a program that it would be hard-pressed to replicate at the level of competence." Robert Latham, associate director of the University of Miami Law School’s Children and Youth Law Clinic, said that the gutting of funding and possible need to move the children elsewhere could inflict serious damage on their developing psyches. "It’s incredibly psychologically harmful to be moved,” he said. “For little kids, moving repeatedly creates bonding issues and destroys the sense of both self and community. They don’t know who they are and where they will be." “This should only be done with a lot of emotional support that you normally would find within a family. Unfortunately, that is not there in a group home setting,” Latham added. Of course, Donald Trump couldn't care less about the suffering of children. This man was friends with Jeffrey Epstein for years and been accused of sexual abuse himself. He started his Iran War by blowing up a school full of little girls and his administration has worked around the clock to strip funding from programs that feed, educate, and house children. While the administration has not admitted that these funding cuts are payback against Pope Leo, the point A to point B is apparent. Trump is the most vindictive man to ever hold the presidency. He has been relentlessly attacking Leo for criticizing his Iran War. This is him using financial leverage in an effort to beat the Pope into submission. It will not work. Please ❤️ and share to demand that the funding be doubled when Democrats take back control!

BREAKING: EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS. Senator Mark Kelly just completely torched Donald Trump: "When Donald Trump was driving the Taj Mahal casino into bankruptcy, I was getting shot at over Iraq and Kuwait. In 2001, after Donald Trump said that the collapse of the Twin Towers now meant he now owned the tallest skyscraper in Manhattan, I was carrying flags honoring 911 victims into space on a rocket ship. In 2003, when Donald Trump was writing birthday greetings to the monster, Jeffrey Epstein, I was the first on the scene to recover the bodies of my fellow astronauts who died when Space Shuttle Columbia exploded during re-entry. In 2011, when Trump was hosting a reality show, and peddling conspiracy theories against President Barack Obama, I was sitting next to my wife’s hospital bed as she recovered from a gunshot wound to the head."

Let us reject the logic of violence and war, and embrace peace founded on love and justice—an unarmed peace, not based on fear, threats or weapons. This peace is disarming, because it is capable of resolving conflicts, opening hearts, and generating trust, empathy, and hope. I strongly reiterate: The world thirsts for #Peace! Enough of war and all the pain it causes through death, destruction, and exile! #ApostolicJourney #Cameroon

That Butters went to bed last night knowing he was guilty & by inference that his integrity had been called into question but not knowing the reasons behind the decision is a disgrace. We must defend his and Ollie’s character with a no holds barred appeal. Enough is enough.
