@JuiceTerry9 @AwayDays_ Is it the one who always looked the happiest and married a Bond girl. Just saying.

@mark_curriemmc I don’t mind Vardy, and I think he’s actually a better player than he gets credit for, but better than Torres? That’s like saying Boney M we’re better than The Jam

@mackin_john @SteKelly198586 I say the same to my son sat next to me every time I see it at the match. “Dad I know, you say it every time”
English

@SteKelly198586 I hate it when away teams (including us) play in a change strip when there is no colour clash.
Cynical and crass attempt to promote one of the away kits.

@mackin_john @SteKelly198586 Spot on this. Game goes on, immediate attention if a player is really hurt and stops players going down for nothing.
English

@SteKelly198586 Let the medical staff come onto the pitch to attend an 'injured' player as the game continues (as in rugby) around him. Until the point where the player becomes an obstruction or a danger then the game stops.

@skr448 @theJeremyVine Or he could just choose not to watch it if he doesn’t want to.

Kind of surreal to be shitposted by Joey Barton’s podcast. And also sad. I love football/ Arsenal so much. Have spent my life watching/ playing the game, just to be branded a symbol of a “woke panto”. What does appearing “woke” have to do with understanding football?
Common Sense with Joey Barton@Common_SensePod
This is how far out beautiful game has fallen, it's become a woke panto for all the they/thems 🥲

Thoughts with Liverpool legend, KEVIN KEEGAN: "The only thing I fear is missing an open goal in front of The Kop. When they start singing 'YNWA' my eyes start to water. There have been times when I've actually been crying while I've been playing" #Liverpool #keegan #LFC #YNWA ❤️

@SiClancy Imagine using the word pitiful 🤡
Fucking dickhead

@BLUENOSEBOB1878 Thanks for all the laughs Bob. Here’s to a New Year full of Kopites getting chickened by the Vernon Sangster. Not today though. I’ve got a shocking hangover.

@StanCollymore Nice tribute that. He was a really good player back in the day . Always seemed to play well against Liverpool 👍

An incredibly heavy heart having been told of the passing of John Robertson, Forest's greatest ever player, my coach at Leicester and one of the loveliest, kindest hearted humans I've met.
As a kid he was a hero on Star Soccer with his beguiling wing play, trademark shoulder drop, go past the fullback and cross. When I finally got to Forest I wore white tape under my shinpads in homage to him.
At Leicester with Martin O'Neill he knew of my issues and problems and instead like many, who mocked them, he put a literal arm around me, had words of empathy and kindness and genuinely gave me support. The fact that the lads at Leicester loved him so much was a joy to see, a living legend getting a lot of love from a hard nosed, experienced dressing room.
When I retired and started doing radio, I'd often be at Villa Park, the radio point being near the tunnel. More than once I'd see a plume of ciggy smoke coming from the tunnel an hour after the end of a game, Robbo would poke his head around the corner and say "I'm listening! I can f***** hear you from here!".
Last time I saw him was at the World Famous City Ground where we sat together in a box watching the Trickies. He regaled everyone with great stories, humour and that something extra that he, and another great man dearly missed, Trevor Francis, had. A warmth that years of the gnarly industry that is pro football never dimmed nor affected. He was just "Robbo", a giant of my childhood, a giant of a club we both were lucky enough to represent, but a good man, just a bloody good man.
Sending all my love to Robbo's family and friends, to everyone at Forest and those who were lucky enough to spend time with him.
Last year it was Gary Shaw, this year Robbo, the footballing Gods haven't been so kind in recent years.
Robbo, you'll be sorely missed, thank you for your inspiration as a player, your support as a coach and lasting legacy as a lovely human being.
Rest in peace, Robbo.
