In the early days, when there was no dupe protection and I opened 1,000+ packs per set, there were always a lot of viewers, but as with all things, everything has its time. I think a lot of people see it the same way you do. If you pre-order both bundles, you get almost all the cards in the set, and the theorycrafting events already expose you to most of the synergies you could have discovered on your own before.

It's a shame that watching big pack opens has lost so much of its appeal. It might be due to the mass pack opening feature—or perhaps the chances of getting good cards have become worse due to the high variance. What do you think? #Hearthstone

@Leolph There are no high stakes. If you open pokemon cards for 500 Euros then its interesting if you get Glurak (or whatever) Or if the Person Lose money. You simply dont have that in Hearthstone. Of course just my 2 Cents why i think openings are not super entertaining.

@Berono91 Interesting, I see your point. I hadn't considered it from that perspective. (I won't open the packs until release day, though.)

@Leolph I mean if you open 600 Packs then you have every Card. So I know I will watch you open Packs for 2-3 hours and then you have everything. And you will have every card in golden (because of dust) so even that ist not interesting.

Whether this expansion hits hard or not at release, rotation is shaping up to the most impactful we've ever seen. I wish we could just have rotation now, I'm totally ready for a fresh start.
