After several weeks of tough hunting I FINALLY got it done today in Illinois on a public land buck. Feeling thankful & blessed for sure. Now back over to MO for the weekend see what happens there!

@BubeckLawrence Thank you , yes the white tips are really cool. I’m supposed to be getting back a nice one soon from the taxidermist from a 2022 hunt here.

I really wanna try tungsten turkey loads, but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna spend $60-80 on 5 shells, the ole @RemingtonArms nitro turkey will do just fine. Have been for years!

Congratulations to Lenora Dampman on her Hawaii gobbler! She weathered the rainstorms and bagged her bird while hunting with her husband, Ralph. Way to go Lenora! The Big Island has excellent populations of Rio Grande birds and makes for some breathtaking days afield.
