Mississippi had a ball hosting our fellow Alabama House of Representatives in a charity softball game benefitting @childrensofms. Alabama legislators enjoyed Mississippi hospitality with a tour of the Capitol building, fried catfish, and an extra hot day at Trustmark Park. We look forward to the 2nd Battle of Tombigbee next year in Alabama!

Dr. Mac was one of the good guys. I met him in 2007 during his successful campaign for the MS House. I don’t remember a visit since then to Pontotoc county - and there have been many - when Dr. Mac wasn’t there with me.
A Vet AND a Veteran, Dr. Mac managed the representation of his people in the Capitol with the same care and precision of the Vietnam helicopter pilot and flight instructor that he was.
@firstladyofms and I will be praying for Dr. Mac’s wife, kids and the rest of the family!
