When you canonize doctrine from a reintrepretation of historical texts, treat it as a sole authority in and from a "man", you lose truth from God in favor a fallible, imperfect man. Nearly 600 years after the life of Christ who rose from the dead, perform miracles and spoke while Muhammad's account, erroneously, downplays who Jesus was. Has anyone ever considered that Muhammad was just a crazy man who reinterpreted historical texts for his pleasure? It is plausible. We see these things consistently throughout history, even in the Catholic and Protestant churches to even churches today where they misinterpret God's word for personal gain.

I received a message a few weeks ago from a transgender person that I helped with groceries a couple of times. He's a biological male but identifies as a female. I told this person that I will not participate in their "mental illness" but I also said I won't turn you down if you're hungry. Well, when this person messaged me they admitted that I was right. He has a history of mental illness. Mainly schizophrenia. He asked if we could meet to discuss that. I replied gently that im not a mental health expert and I was the wrong person to reach out to about that issue. You see, they know that something isn't right. Why are people enabling them rather than guiding them to get the help they need. This person is genuinely a good person but isn't getting the help they need. Just thought I'd share. It still bothers me when I think about it.
