The ANTI-CAB3 coalition made big mistakes during the Public Consultation Periods. Here are some mistakes made by @freemanchari, @TrevorNcube, @DougColtart, @mawarirej, & @LynneStactia. 1. Rejection of ALL 21 Clauses: - The moment they rejected all the 21 Clauses, it became clear that their decision is not rational, it’s just OUT OF HABIT. There is no rational being who would find all the 21 Clauses of CAB3 unacceptable. It is this irrational behaviour that made it difficult for them to mobilise Zimbabweans against the Bill. People couldn’t understand why a normal person would reject a clause that allows the Constitutional Court to hear more cases other than Constitutional Issues… Or the clause compelling the military to ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSTITUTION. 2. Regarding the Public Consultation Process as a YES/NO vote for CAB3 - The folks opposing CAB3 submitted written submissions where their main concern was stating that they “reject the Bill” … Parliament wasn’t asking for people’s votes in favour of, or against the Bill… Parliament wanted INPUT from the Public. The MPs will not count the Yays & Nays, they are looking for GOOD ARGUMENTS that add value to the process. Sending 100% copy & paste responses is just the same as sending 1 submission. Parliament is acutely aware that emails can be abused, that’s why the number of similar submissions won’t move anything, it is UNIQUE & well made arguments that will get the best considerations. The public was given a chance to ASSIST the legislature in fine tuning the bill, it wasn’t a referendum! 3. Rejecting the process while participating in it: - This has been one of the major weakness of the Zimbabwean opposition. Over the years, they have saying elections are rigged yet they keep participating in the elections and they take up the positions they win in those elections. U can’t say the election was illegitimate yet you go on to be an MP/Councillor/Senator after that election. In the case of CAB3, the opposition FULLY PARTICIPATED as Legislators during the Public Consultation Process & they also made their submissions as members of the Public. By participating, they gave the process FULL LEGITIMACY. Their input is exactly what the process is meant to achieve. 4. Delusion of Grandeur - Lots of Zimbabweans submitted their views to public in support of CAB3… However, those in opposition spoke as if they were the only ones making submissions. Some even regarded their views as the only ones that matter. Once you behave like that, you expose your toxic attitude towards Public Discourse and you won’t recover from it. In short, the Anti-CAB3 Coalition unwittingly destroyed its credibility amongst Zimbabweans & even internationally. I remember doing a radio interview a day after the station hosted an anti-CAB3 Zimbabwean… The radio hosts were shocked to learn about some of the things being rejected by the Zim opposition… CAB3 is a Done Deal:.. CAB3 is a COMMON SENSE BILL, CAB3 is unstoppable!

@matigary How about prioritising buying text books. How about building new schools and name them even after your own girlfriends. In Dande students walk over 40km to the nearest school learning under the tree and you thinking of renaming schools Nonsense

@KMutisi It's assembling. The sector is still doing less than 1% capacity. They only visit when there is only 1 vehicle being assembled. Parliamentarians refused to drive those cars. Get your facts right. The only viable yet struggling is AVM Africa due to demand. Gvt impots

Everyday I wake up motivated seeing a man who turned hustle into an empire while carrying people along with him. Zimbabwe needs more men with that kind of heart and vision. At this point if Sir Wicknell ever needs a guard, ndiripo 😂 kana kutoti “nditsvagirei imbwa”... imi just whistle once, ndomhanya hangu 😭 Respect where it’s due 👏 @wicknellchivayo

@KMutisi There is criminalism in the mining and selling. Gold is being exported by @ZANUPF_Official mafia disguised as Chrome, export receipts are being undervalued to evade taxes. Your job is very difficult Mtisi. Conducting public relations for criminals is not easy

@NNyashaYessur @MadzivaNehemiah But are you sure when it was imported he paid duty less than 100 or we just trying to be dramatic. That he sold the GD6 at UDD100 even USD1 is not the basis by which Zimra evaluates vehicles. Let's stand guided.

Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei has no ambition to become President. His main goal is to create millionaires, build generational wealth, and support Zimbabwe’s vision of a US$153 billion economy by 2050. There is no succession issue to discuss, as it was resolved at the ZANU PF Conference in Mutare last year. All processes are moving smoothly, and the current President remains in office until 2030. “Zimbabwe will not have a fuel crisis over the next six months. Our reserves are full, with over 540 million litres of fuel underground,” says Hon @cmatewu during a tour of the NOIC Mabvuku depot. He added that Parliament will support legislation to boost fuel pumping capacity and impose stiffer penalties on pipeline vandalism.

In China, the President is not elected by the people; the Communist Party of China (CPC) selects its top leaders through Party congresses. The Party is superior to the government in China’s political structure. The head of government is called the Premier. The military belongs to the Party, not the state. So to hell with your western democracy CAB3 bhoo

@zanupf_patriots So this hospital was first established in 1980, commissioned into a full blown Hospital in 1974 and all @ZANUPF_Official government did was to rename it to Parinyatwe in 1980 and took them 46 years to refurbish stair cases of one block and renovating a swimming pool Nonsense
