Very sad news that Terry Yorath has passed away. He left his mark at our great football club, lifting us out of the gloom with the 1987/88 promotion season. But it's in that iconic Admiral kit I'll remember him, as a warrior for his country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚽️

Amazing achievement by Newport RFC in 1963 👏 Why hasn't this ever had the same recognition and media coverage over the years as the Llanelli RFC win in 1972 v The All Blacks ?

Moved and excited to finally find the location for the John Piper (test) print I own, in Bronant. On the Tate website it's just listed as 'Dylwyn Church' which is gibberish. Once I owned the print I could read the memorials, and thus found the location with the help of Google!

Right wing media has had it in for @AngelaRayner from the start - they couldn’t bear a working class woman being so powerful & dynamic. She made a mistake & has paid heavily for it. Hope she’ll return at some point in the future - our politics needs more voices like hers
