#AcceleratingTN2022 @TNedu What were the criteria for selecting which districts to visit? Seems kind of strange to visit these and not @SCSK12Unified.

I know we're supposed to discourage them from talking to strangers, but I think I'd pay a stranger to listen to my kid talk about video games.

I ordered 4 bananas and Whole Foods brought me 4 *extra-large bunches of bananas*. If they’re sold out when you go there, it’s not my fault but apparently they’re all at my house.

@elstupacabra I laugh (and inwardly roll my eyes) because my parents were very strict and I had to sneak around to read what I wanted, but my mom now buys my teen absolutely whatever she wants to read without hesitation.

@ElyKreimendahl I still find it hard to believe that NT get hyper with it. Like, I do feel a little rush when it starts kicking in, but it's like a calming rush? As if I had been floating and buffeted in a tornado and suddenly I just dropped with a thud onto the grass.

ten years before i knew I had ADHD i took adderall at a music festival. my friends were all jacked up and dancing but I was like “it’s suddenly manageable for me to sit calmly under this tree and reply to some text messages”

How do you keep writing when the world is on fire and your work feels like pointless trash and you just want to nap? This isn't rhetorical. I want actual strategies and mantras and hope. If you have any. Please.
