For years, I was only a runner.
It was a huge part of my identity.
Now my training is different.
I still love running, but I also love the gym. I like the versatility of doing both and I’ve lost the love of racing.
PBs don’t drive me now.
Sticking to what keeps me healthy, happy, and sane.
@gotthegistofit I can’t find the right words, but hope you know what an inspiration you have been to so many. Sending very best wishes to you and your family for the Christmas season and hoping you can make many beautiful memories x
Squeezing as much Christmas cheer in as we can. My body is starting to fail now so there won’t be another chance - make the most of every minute.
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas
🎅🏼 ❤️
Something really wonderful happend today. I finally after 4 and a half years had an appoitment with a lovely lady from Oxfordshire mind to talk about my brother and grief. I feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders
@RunComPod Love that you went to Highams Park. I lived there until 2023. If you want a longer run, carry on to Connaught Water and even onto High Beech, Epping. Beautiful route 🌳
The second half of our long run through the wild wood-and-heathlands of east London is out now, and it’s an autumnal, philosophical treat. Plus is you subscribe as a fan (runcompod.supercast.com) you can hear the next episode - featuring trouble for Tonks.
