Not related but I stopped adding crayfish in my moi moi recently. I discovered that it turns the food dark once I add it. My very beautiful moi moi will just start looking very ugly once it touches it. I like the taste but e no fine. Crayfish just has a way of overshadowing the taste so I use curry. Got that from Hilda Baci’s recipe then tatashe and red bell peppers for color There’s a particular color I look forward to achieve if I’m cooking moi moi and it became impossible with crayfish. I don’t know if I was doing anything wrong or that’s just the way it’s generally but my moi moi looks very good now and the taste still bangs without it. Do you add crayfish to your moi moi?

Labour pain ooohh, I went to hell and came back. I woke up that faithful Monday, went to buy akara as usual, when I was coming back I started having cramps, but the pain was not that much, it will start and stop, so I didn’t go to the hospital immediately, I was just at home watching movies, it was around 6pm the pain became unbearable, I couldn’t evn sit or lie down, my husband and I went to the hospital, they checked my cervix nd told me to go home that I was just 2cm dilated, I nearly craze, cos if only 2cm was that painful, that means I will be dead before it gets to 10cm. I went home that night but I couldn’t sleep due to the pain, the following morning we went back to the hospital and they checked me again, they said I was only 4cm dilated, at that point I started crying that I don’t think I can bear that pain anymore, the nurses were encouraging me but I was in so much pains, that was how I stayed in the hospital from 8am till 3am that was when my water finally broke, Oya time to push I couldn’t evn breath well talk more of to push, the nurses were shouting push, I didn’t evn answer them, me that was seeing life slip out of me you are asking me to push, push Wetin, I was not evn feeling the baby so what am I supposed to push. When I saw that the baby was not ready to come out that was when I told the nurses to book me for CS cos if I push again I might die, they said ahh madam try push na, I said Godforbid I push again. When I entered the theatre, 10mins later my baby was out, she was already so weak and couldn’t even cry, not up to one hour I followed. When I was in recovery I kept telling my mum that if I had known I would have gone for CS direct instead of going through that traumatic experience. Never again in my life!!!

Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement. I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down. To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down. I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do.
