Been going down a rabbit hole of Indian brands, shoes, clothing, bags, accessories. And I’m really impressed. The design, quality, and attention to detail are right up there with global standards.
This isn’t about nationalism. It’s about taste and execution. You can see the shift, from imitation to an original point of view.
Feels like we’re on the cusp of seeing several Indian brands scale internationally.

After a very long time ordered an @Olacabs for a rental booking for 8am this morning for 8 hours. At 7.20am received a call from the driver. He asked me if I can cancel the booking and pay him directly. I said NO. Then @Olacabs promptly cancelled my booking without intimating or replacement. Then I remembered why I stopped using this service. Will never again. Ever. Even though I do have great respect for the brand and all that they stand for.
