One trend I’m noticing in 2026 is that most college interns are actively looking for hybrid workplaces where they get a chance to meet real people on the office floor. Very few seem to want fully remote roles.
I’m not sure whether this is driven by industry pressure or if many people are simply realising the value of in-person interaction and returning to the office at regular intervals.
Do you still prefer completely remote work?

Many people start believing that a few organizations are "bad" just because they conduct layoffs, while forgetting that these are often still the dream companies for countless others — and many people are dying to get into them.
Layoffs and restructuring are a normal part of business and are bound to happen from time to time. They don’t automatically make any organization good or bad.
Similarly, if a company doesn’t do layoffs, it doesn’t mean it’s the best in the world.
Don’t fall for these market-driven narratives and social media trends.
Keep trying, keep working hard, and do whatever it takes to get into a better organization.
I also believe there’s no universal limit to what counts as the "best" organizations. For every person, dream companies are different.
So keep working hard to join *your* dream organization — not because they will never do layoffs, but because they will help you fulfill your aspirations, give you valuable growth opportunities, validation, and social respect.

The world of software is changing rapidly.
AI is no longer just a feature—it’s becoming a core part of how modern systems are built. From AI-powered applications to agentic systems and intelligent platforms, the role of software architecture is evolving.
When I started Insight Veda, the goal was to provide a clear roadmap for developers to grow from writing code to designing scalable systems. That mission continues—but the landscape around us is shifting.
Going forward, Insight Veda will increasingly focus on Software Architecture for the AI Era.
We’ll explore how AI is reshaping system design, architectural patterns, infrastructure, and decision-making for modern software systems.
The fundamentals of architecture still matter—but now we must learn how to apply them in a world where AI is part of the system itself.
Excited for what’s ahead at insightveda.com
