My job is to create congruency in brands. I often spend time talking to teams and finding out what their biggest pain point is. If I was to sum it up in one word it would be “belonging” -

Please do not take this as an invitation to argue, but I think that Christians (of whom I am one, and quite happy about it) speak too quickly, too frequently, too brusquely, and too lightly of God.

None of us really fall in love, we just stop making everything about ourselves, and love floods into the space selfishness leaves behind.

Sometimes I wonder if at the core of every life there might be a sacred grief, a holy wound; a pain so clean and innocent that to remove it would unmake the one who has been wretchedly blessed with its inexpressible, singular, generative suffering.

I am increasingly aware that the best way to move through life is to be delighted and to be a delight to others. It’s just better that way.
