Dear Football…
From a sport that my parents threw me into back in 3rd grade until this past Saturday, I never knew how my life would forever change. I’m forever thankful for my family for able to support me and be long for this crazy journey.
To those I met at Athletic Performance in Old Town Clovis, would never have imagined some of the best moments in my life would be with you all in the gym. To Dave, Jeremy, Wylie, and everyone else, thank you helping me in ways I never would’ve imagined.
To those I grew up with at Alta Sierra / Buchanan High School, I’m so glad to have started my path with y’all and never forgot the glory days we shared.
To those I found at Valparaiso University in the short time I was there, thank you for helping me start my path of college football.
To those I made life long memories with at Fresno City College, I will never forget you guys and for all the crazy times we shared together grinding and hoping for a shot at the next level. Coach Hawkins, Coach Scheidt, Coach Brown, and Coach Caviglia, I truly do appreciate you all for taking me in and helping me reach my goals and potential.
To those I can call life long brothers at UTEP, man I love you guys and from the bottom of my heart thank you for accepting me and giving me a home and a chance when no one else would. Coach Wallerstedt, Coach Newsome and Coach Dimel, thank you guys for taking a chance on a kid from the Valley and making my dreams come true. Coach Walden and the rest of the new staff thank you guys for allowing me to finish my career as a UTEP Miner end things on my own terms. All those hours spent in the DL film room to the insane days of fall camp, college football truly is some of the best times in life. I’m not entirely sure on what the next focus of my life will be.
A game that has been a part of me and shaped who I am for so long, it’s so hard that the moments come to finally say goodbye. Thank you to everyone, time to see what the future holds for the next chapter of my life.
This truly is the greatest game in the world
