@EACoachDavis Looks to me like he’s moving to the outside a lot off his straight portion into the start of his curve, causing him to have to make big course corrections on the curve. Big course corrections tend to cause flattening out over the bar

Any thoughts on this approach? We had a TON of speed yesterday but just couldn't convert it.

Biggest gap I see is sprinters/hurdlers not setting up their blocks properly & being in good set positions. This is why I focus on teaching the simple basics. That way they can corporate it themselves. Excited for Summer Training. Starts June 5 to August 5th

@Maddog98730644 I would keep the team as is and make him an alternate. 4x1 has a lot to do with chemistry. Sophomore will get his time to shine, give that opportunity to the seniors. Use him in the open events

I don’t doubt this but in collegiate XC / TF coaching I think it’s impossible to achieve during the 3 seasons we coach. The only time I feel truly recovered is during the summer when I can switch off. How do coaches detach during the season?

@marcusdickson94 I had a kid who started his senior year outdoor season. Ran sub-60 in the 400mH and 16.20 in the 110mH in High School. Came on to compete with our team at the collegiate level, broke all of our school records in the 60mH, 110mH, 400mH, Long Jump, Javelin. Qualified for regionals!
