3 Year anniversary of @BullsApesProj mint date I went to write this post so many times, but this 3+ year journey has so many ups and downs, twists and turns that I can't even begin to get the words out in a single post, but I'll try. First I can't thank the BAP community enough. There have been so many that have contributed and a core that continues to contribute today. I never could have dreamed to have so much support from so many people that I have never met. I am so grateful. Going into mint date as a first time founder in a space that was and is the wild wild west was an indescribable experience. There were so many unknowns so much optimism and a ridiculous amount of pressure. Mint day turned into mint week with an around the clock space until we minted out. Absolutely insane how many people popped in, helped host and kept the momentum going in a bear market. So funny how many people advised us just wait a couple of weeks until the bear market was over. Yeah 3 years later... Post mint out we chased attention while trying to keep our community engaged. So many lessons learned - wasted marketing dollars, overreacting to "sentiment", focusing on things that didn't move the needle, disconnects about our target audience and core purpose. So many lessons. Brutal humbling of the bear market, losing the company we built, and needing to reset expectations with our community. We got scrappy, consolidated around the core we have today and I believe we have something special - a strong foundation of community, tech, storytelling, and gamification to build from. It might not be the overnight massive success we hoped for 3 years ago, but through consistent and persistent delivery, showing up everyday, and being straightforward with our core community we have built something special. Oh yeah and by the way our lore and gamified digital collectibles are a collectors dream. We have two seasons of lore and gamification and a third season we are just about kicking off. Our trading corner channel is still one of the most fun to watch. People trading and dealing on the daily. Just wait until Season 3. Then we have our "digital garage". Amazing community channels for us to share our personal goals and challenges and for all of us to share our experiences and knowledge to help each other. It is a special place. So looking back on the last 3 years. Definitely not what I was expecting, but yeah I'm proud of what it has become despite the ups and downs. Thank you to everyone who has been with us along the way and looking forward to what is yet to come.
