The Biden administration actually led the best economic recovery in the world but voters hated it b/c prices went up post-covid. So instead, they saw the lifelong con-man/pathological liar say "I will lower prices on day one" (with not a single plan to back it up) and millions of people believed him. And now we reap the obvious results of said con-man. What a tremendously stupid country.

Eastern Ky and the western coal fields was more anti-slavery in general while the bluegrass, pennyrile, and Jackson purchase were more pro-slavery due to farming. This was a big reason to why KY did not succeed due to the vast differences of the state

I actually did some research earlier. Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State weren't established when the Civil War broke out so they weren't involved. LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia all shut down during the war because large portions of the student body were fighting for the confederacy. Alabama became a military institution to train confederate officers. Mizzou was on the side of the Union.
