@KwingReviews @justxavierisunc The reason why I wont buy it at launch and wait for a sale is the limited character roster of 7. Not being able to play as the joker in a Lego Batman seems crazy. Do you miss the 150+ characters that you could use in free roam? I’ll probably wait for the game to be $20 on sale.

Lego Batman LOTDK is a great 9/10 Game. But still has aspects that aren'tamazing. Which is ok.
But to say you can't say anything critical is crazy.

@KalevalaNite Sorry, but no one is more fitting than Jason for 10 years when the game is literally heavily inspired by Friday the 13th.
You don’t pick someone else for 10 years when Jason finally becomes available after years of legal battles locking the character away.

Jason has been in steady production with Jason Universe since July 2024. BHVR wanted a faster turnaround. The initial pitch consisted of a Killer only and themed Survivor cosmetics. It could have grown since then or changed. They are not allowed to use the Voorhees name.

Personally, I think the shack stream was a genius way to reveal Jason.
This built up more hype and anticipation for any chapter they’ve ever teased, which is fitting because it’s JASON FUCKING VOORHEES.
People were gonna whine no matter what, but it was fun. Well done BHVR!
