@RealRetroNC my team was identical to Team 3 swapping Mence for Hariyama on my second playthrough and 4/6 on Team 2 on my first playthrough swapping Altaria and Mawile for Dodrio and Gardevoir Mence, Metagross (literal post game pokemon) and Milotic are too niche for first teams

@ShinyHaunter05 @IntroSpecktive as a player who has been playing since the gbc, it was a very welcomed feature that separates BW from the rest of the franchise. Even if they included some older pokemon, if they opted to not allow popular gen1 like Zam, Champ, Gyara, Pikachu, etc people would still complain

@ShinyHaunter05 @IntroSpecktive name one Gen 1 “rip off” that genuinely is garbage. the incapability to let go of forcing gen 1 nostalgia is rooted in this mentality that a pokemon game, one where it could very easily fit into lore that the region was only filled with native pokemon is still a plague today

@IntroSpecktive No, that was a terrible idea. Alienating your already existing playerbase from the new playerbase was a terrible idea that had to be backtracked on for BW2. That deliberate choice is why the term genwunner exists and why gen 5 designs were rightfully hated into oblivion.

If the US used the likeness instead of raw footage, it’s fair use. Given it’s being used for war propaganda, could be harmful to Nintendo’s reception and (1/2)
