I had a fat mum, and skinny dad. Alas, I inherited the fat gene. Whenever I lose weight, though, my legs turn into those of my dad. Not just a little. Side-by-side identical. It's genuinely alarming and makes me feel a little ill.

No-one can eat what they want and stay slim unless they're on Royal Marines Commando induction training or something. How many fat people have you seen emerge from PoW camps?

@VixLeyton You're too kind. Basically, when the tremor is bad, I have to consciously hold it in, lest I drop the mic or smack myself with it 😂 But I'm enjoying writing at the moment, and when it works, it works well. I just have more work to do on retaining composure when it goes wrong!

@BigCuckLittle Material is totally there. You have some really fun themes I would quite enjoy writing around, and you couldn’t tell you were struggling physically - stage presence was always there. Always looked like you had it.

Well I'm glad yesterday is over. Incredibly stressful and emotionally challenging work day followed by dying on my arse at one of my favourite ever gigs in front of @VixLeyton i genuinely think i disassociated for about 4 minutes on stage. Oh well. Today is a new day.

@VixLeyton To be fair I was a little off in my delivery for the initial joke to set up the callback. My tremor was horrendous yesterday to the point of affecting my breathing, so I wasn't really on it rhythm wise . It really needs that initial joke at the start to hit and it didn't 😔

@BigCuckLittle I really liked it as a bit, Can see where that was going and how it would work in longer sets - I had a similar bit that audiences didn’t get too quick enough about someone saying they knew me, when I didn’t feel like I knew myself yet, it never got what I felt it deserved.

@VixLeyton The fact that you remember any of that word vomit is astounding, and I'm very flattered. New day, new gig, new chance to put it right and all that 🙂

@BigCuckLittle haven't finished the second series yet, but it's so good at perfecting the balance of comedy and heart-wrenching emotion

Finally got around to season 2 of #Shrinking. Binged it in two days, and now I'm sat here weeping. It's an incredible feat of writing and acting for every single main cast member to make you laugh out loud AND break your heart consistently over a series. Phenomenal television.

@BigCuckLittle got a 3 month Apple TV trial and glad I stumbled across it - easily the best role Harrison Ford has had in years and years

Got home from seeing @CallMeCantrill's tour show in Leeds. There are fucking levels to this comedy game and that cheeky Bradford boy is currently fighting Dr Robotnik. What an incredible show. Also I hope his support keeps going because he was funny too.

Not a sausage for me this week, but early days. One of our amazing writing group got on though, congrats @joeshooman ♥️ #BTN
