Our final story brings us full circle to where we started tonight. Farmers are sounding the alarm after President Trump said China will continue buying American farmland, even as Americans are told China is the reason we need a nationwide AI buildout. That contradiction is setting off alarm bells across the country. The same nation framed as America’s greatest threat is still being allowed to buy up pieces of the U.S. food supply, while communities across the country are told to give up farmland, water, energy, and local industry for giant AI data centers built in the name of “competing with China.” Farmers warned that food security is national security, but Washington keeps acting like none of this carries consequences. So what happens when America’s farmland is sold off, its future is automated, and the people raising the alarm are ignored? We're in the hook phase of AI. The switch will come later with cost increases. Each image of cats or aliens doing silly things will cost money. We'll be addicted to such entertainment so we'll have to budget. AI for more "noble" purposes will be too expensive or inaccessible.

No worries, mate. We all are. Up HIGH in the Rockies is really about the only place that is safe for the first onslaught. After that is likely a slow death unless you are hyper prepared and also very lucky. As accurate as their portends are, the likelihood that it all goes exactly as we think is low. And even in their models, there is a ton of variance. 5% maybe survive. If mankind is lucky 10%+? So, what now? What now is to embrace every second our lives have left. Appreciate everything. Find your center. Contextualize life itself. This will minimize your concerns. Moreover, while some high-profile people say 25 years or less.. others have privately told me we COULD be a few centuries out before it happens... though, I believe that was a mercy to me. Still, it was said, and by a very serious profile whose attention I didn't deserve. There are a lot of physical mechanics at play that could delay it all for our lives. These things aren't a perfect science to predict. I do believe the history of our earth and the research they have done is as conclusive as it can be. It is gonna happen. But... we all die. Maybe there will be some true peace knowing we die together, in a way.

The creation of the first detransitioner clinic at Texas Children's Hospital is a massive win and a big step toward exposing the lie that “gender-affirming care” is evidence based and medically necessary. Gender doctors and activists have to be FORCED to acknowledge detransitioners because their existence shines a bright light on the pseudoscientific lie that everyone is born with an innate and immutable gender identity we all sense from toddlerhood, that it can be misaligned from our bodies, and that this mismatch can be corrected with puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries. This is all complete nonsense. I am glad to have been able to discuss this with @PrishaMosley recently on @NTDNews.

IME, the number of "close friends" might be doubled while coupled, but the depth of closeness among fewer friends is greater while single. Probably because being coupled is more socially preoccupying. There's just not as much time & energy for friends beyond casual hangouts.

This is the only universal definition of the sexes, because it describes what differentiates male from female no matter the species of plant or animal. Females are the producers of the larger gamete, the egg, which holds most of the cellular resources for the zygote. Males are the producers of the smaller gamete, the sperm, which holds little to no resources for the zygote. This difference in gametic resource provisioning informs major downstream differences of the sexes. The eggs have to be large, produced in fewer number, and not move as fast. The sperm have to be small, produced in immense quantities, and move much faster than the egg. These differences then influence the evolution of sex-specific reproductive anatomy, behavior, and so on.
