If I were a contender and needed a bonafide ace, I’d do whatever I could to go and get Chris Sale. Alex Anthopoulos isn’t one to wave the white flag ever and I understand he said it wouldn’t happen, but somebody should try. Make your best offer and see what happens.

I don't know who needs to hear this but from Week 8 on last year, Bryce Young out-produced C.J. Stroud in every efficiency metric we care about and it wasn't particularly close.
The "It was a bad situation" excuse falls apart pretty fast when you think about it that way.
