@spidermonkeys92 I think it could have been a factor for sure but there’s so many layers I don’t think it’s a direct 1:1
English

@JuMosq Do you think if we waited 3 months to cut Jenkins browns would have signed walker and we get a 4th rd comp pic. Watched your podcast was thinking maybe.
English

I'm assuming we're working off the OTC numbers that have some projections in them.
3rd Malik (will move up with PT as long as he isn't hurt early and long)
4th Doubs (firm)
5th Quay (firm)
5th/6th Rasheed (much more likely to be a 6th, might be offset by Moore - we don't know)

@JuMosq comp pick updates? Dropped a couple rounds with Walker's deal with the Panthers

@Alcoh0ltwt I think I've only seen Sinners and One Battle After Another lol

@KenIngalls @AaronNagler Interesting to see the beat that dragged my name in the paper when I brought this up has been radio silent on the issue

I highly encourage everyone to watch the conversation @AaronNagler and @JuMosq had on this topic. It’s highly informative and intelligent conversation around the real money issues of having a publicly owned team in the smallest of small markets. It’s so easy to take for granted what we have in Green Bay, but it’s exceptionally difficult.
English

Many scoffed when Ed Policy said his #1 priority was to keep the Packers in Green Bay.
It’s an exceptionally difficult task to pull off as the team faces a constant uphill battle financially. Lots of work has been done to build up Titletown to stay competitive with additional revenue sources, but their “rainy day fund” is a tiny drop of water in Lake Michigan compared to what other teams have available.
Staying financially competitive and viable is job number 1 indeed, and they are probably going to have to do some unpopular things like stadium naming rights to stay in the game.

@spidermonkeys92 Nope it's a raw count. They sent it and it cancels out
English

@JuMosq Can st juste and moore combine for Kingsley. St juste only gets half of Kingsley in theory does it lower it to a 7th
English

@ernie_ball13 Would cost them the contract plus offsetting a 5th or 6th. I think they're more likely to work cap casualties as they continue to roll in or look trade, if they make a move before the draft
English

@spidermonkeys92 Kingsley's pick is offset by St-Juste. Moore might have already offset Rasheed Walker's pick (we'd need to see the exact contract details to see if that's in play)
English

@JuMosq But cant walker offset the 2 free agents and Kingsley get us a 5th
