@Alarsenalnews_ I think we actually should start Myles in the middle. He's so strong in possession and more than capable of turning Vitenha or Ruiz. We're going to be desperate for those press-breaking runs in this game.

Mikel Arteta started the midfield of Declan Rice, Martin Odergaard and Eberechi Eze Vs Burnley because I know he was trying to see if it could work out Vs PSG. In fact Man City dropping points Vs Bournemouth was an advantage for Arsenal because we were declared champions but it also had a negative impact on our side. I believe if Mikel Arteta had to field his strong 11 against Crystal Palace in the last game of the season we would have got the chance to see the line up he was likely to start against PSG. Against Burnley that midfield didn't convince me enough to say they deserve to start the PSG game maybe because it was the first time starting the game together. The way I am confused on the team to expect must be the same way Luis Enrique too is confused so it may also be an advantage for Arsenal but again Mikel Arteta not trying it the second time is also a disadvantage to him. I saw fans saying Myles Lewis-skelly should start between Odergaard and Eberechi Eze one to be dropped to the bench but let's be honest with ourselves. Myles Lewis-skelly. Starting Lewis Skelly in the finals of the champions league won't be a smart move by Mikel Arteta. I think if he is to drop Eberechi Eze or Martin Odergaard then we will need either Martin Zubimendi or Kai Harvetz in the midfield and not Myles Lewis-skelly. Mikel Merino would have been a better option but he just returned from injury and he can come in later but not start the game. I believe the midfield of Declan Rice, Martin Odergaard or Eberechi Eze and Kai Harvetz will win us the game.

@thebottomcorna If we got in Alvarez, we wouldn't need a left winger. Alvarez can play LW in his sleep, and we're not dropping Viktor next season. I don't understand the Rogers one tbh. We have Eze and Odegaard, who are both capable of much more than they have given this season.

Morgan Rogers and Julian Alvarez seem to be the key targets for Arsenal this summer. If we get both and manage to get in a right back, left winger and a central midfielder, we should be winning the league again next season easily.

Viktor can't hold up every ball and Havertz isn't much better than him in this respect imo. We need Martinelli overlapping runs to give their CBs something to think about.

@TheArsenalMind Has to be Jesus. I'm delighted he has a PL medal with us but I'd sell him and go in for Alvarez. Leo deserves another season. Martinelli is our top scorer in the UCL. White for his brilliant overlapping with Saka. Norgaard is solid cover if MLS isn't available.

@AdamGooner10 @Rory_Talks_Ball Moreover, we gave him his shot. We gave him the chance to dream about these trophies, and we've delivered that to him. Selling players like that is a mistake imo.

@BigMaxDowman @Rory_Talks_Ball I agree that change for change’s sake isn’t what we’re after, but in 2022 having won back to back titles City signed Haaland and won two more on the bounce. Few clubs dwell on success because they know the opposition will strengthen.

@AdamGooner10 @Rory_Talks_Ball That was different imo, Aguero left City in 2021. I'm not saying we shouldn't look to improve, but I still think Martinelli could turn up next season and bag 20 g/a, so it's hard. He's also our top scorer in the UCL. We need players for both occasions.

What might seem like an upgrade could destabilize a squad. I'd rather keep a young, hungry player who will fight for the badge without complaint.

@Rory_Talks_Ball We’ve got to be ruthless if we want to stay on top. That means inconsistent players like Martinelli and Jesus are moved on for fresh faces who bring more quality. He’s contributed brilliantly in his time here but LW is in need of an upgrade

@Rory_Talks_Ball I want him to stay, but he's probably the most valuable young player we have that isn't an absolutely integral part of what we're building. Although he does have that ability to get you that important goal, the way Leo does (goal against City).

@markgoldbridge I'm happy for him. He deserves it. He has been brilliant this season, BUT that is clearly an own goal. It wouldn't have gone in if it hadn't hit the goalkeeper's hand. That's all you need to know to make that decision. I'm happy they didn't overturn it, but they should have.
