This has been the toughest year I’ve seen in 25 years — especially when it comes to getting PPH accounts. It’s a mix of everything hitting at once — regulation, the rise of prediction markets, and books having way more tech to identify bots, patterns, and sharp action. It’s not that they’re better, it’s that they’re faster and more automated in how they flag you. On top of that, a lot of these books just aren’t honorable anymore. There’s no real accountability, so they limit, stall, or flat-out don’t pay — and nothing happens. The offshore space has changed too. After being consolidated by places like Buckeye and Metallic, you’re seeing fewer outs, fewer options, and tighter, more uniform lines. What we were always taught — line shopping, finding the best number — that edge has basically disappeared. If you’re betting into the legal market and taking the best number they offer, you’re getting thrown out. And the PPH world? Smaller than it’s ever been, and getting accounts is harder than ever. The one bright spot is the newer books that have come up over the last few years — BetWar.com, BetAmpola.com Paradisewager.com sharp ag. They actually operate like real sportsbooks again. They take action, respect sharp play, and move their numbers instead of just shutting you down. If you don’t have access or Accts there, get on the horn they are a great tool in the tool belt. That’s how it used to be. Books would take a hit, adjust, and keep dealing. There are still a few mainstays that operate that way, but overall, it’s just not the same environment. Looking back, you realize how good it really was #FeedMe
