@BlindBearMedia I love the Mac but I think Conor tags him up early, doesn’t get him out and Max starts to piece him up starting mid 2nd once Conor’s gas tank is gone. 3rd or 4th round finish for Max.

I agree, but also Lins went in knowing what he’d be paid. He had to have negotiated his pay prior to signing to fight. So it’s not like he went in blind. The issue is that Lins is really a LHW. He hasn’t fought at HW since 2020 and hasn’t won at HW since he won PFL in 2018. Tough to find a competitive fight for Ngannou outside of a promotion.

Thats a 1.4 million dollar difference. Not saying lins should have made 1.5 milly but give he 500k fuck he got in the cage with a beast

@lthomasnews Good for MMA. Not everyone is going to get paramount or throw on a PFL card. But Netflix is a household platform and given the right names people will watch. Would love to see them push past nostalgia fighters and put kore up and comers on the main card.

This is a bigger discussion but using a household name like rousey to draw someone in can be a great way to make someone else a household name. Masvidal wasn’t a huge name until the askren fight. That was on a Jon jones/amanda nunes card. Had that been a fight night, it wouldn’t have had half the viewership
