🎓Cornell University President Hit Students With His Car After Gaza Debate Students for a Democratic Cornell say interim president Michael Kotlikoff struck two students with his vehicle in a campus parking lot on April 30 after they followed him to ask about university protest policies following a Gaza debate. Student Aiden Vallecillo says Kotlikoff ran over his foot and was treated on-site by campus EMS. Another student says the car backed into him. Kotlikoff countered by claiming the encounter was “harassment and intimidation,” saying students surrounded and banged on his vehicle. Cornell released surveillance footage it claimed supports his account showing students “surrounding the car to prevent him from leaving,” though the video does not show window banging. Cornell says it is investigating. (Based on information shared by the Cornell Daily Sun and New York Times.)

The residents of Box Elder County, Utah opposed the massive data center. The commission voted for it anyway. One resident summed it up perfectly: “All of this is false. It’s a charade.” He’s right! Cops started attacking pro-Palestine protesters who are marching around the block to evade police barricades that are blocking off several streets. People in the crowd were just pepper sprayed and shoved with metal barricades. Several cops were mad they pepper sprayed themselves.
