The company hired me to lead their "Agile Transformation." I don't know what Agile means. Nobody does. That's why it works. I make $425,000 a year. To move sticky notes. From left to right. On a board. The board is digital now. The sticky notes cost $80,000 in Jira licenses. Progress. Day one, I said "we need to break down silos." Everyone nodded. Silos are bad. I don't know why. But destroying them is a career. My career. I introduced "squads." Squads are teams. But disrupted. We disrupted the teams into teams. Different names. Same people. Same problems. But Agile problems now. Agile problems are strategic. A senior engineer asked what we're actually changing. I said, "The mindset." He asked what that means. I said, "It's a journey." He asked where we're going. I said, "Toward agility." He asked what agility means. I pointed at the sticky notes. They were moving left to right. That's velocity. We have velocity now. The VP of Engineering said two-week sprints don't fit their work. I said, "That's waterfall thinking." Waterfall is bad. Like silos. I don't know what waterfall is. But I know it's bad. She stopped talking. Waterfall accusations end conversations. We had a retrospective. In the retro, we discussed what went wrong. Everything went wrong. We put it on sticky notes. Then we moved the sticky notes. Into a column called "Parking Lot." The Parking Lot is where problems go to die. It's full. We don't look at it. That's agile. Velocity is up 40%. I defined velocity. I also defined the points. I also defined the stories. We're crushing it. At the things I made up. To measure. Ourselves. The CEO asked for ROI. I showed a chart. The chart went up. Charts should go up. This one did. I didn't label the Y-axis. Nobody asked. Leadership is confidence. We do standups now. Every day. We stand. For 45 minutes. Standing is agile. Sitting is waterfall. My legs hurt. But we're transforming. The transformation is now "Phase 3." Phase 1 was assessment. Phase 2 was implementation. Phase 3 is "continuous improvement." Continuous means forever. Forever means job security. I'm very secure. My contract was extended. Three more years. For "cultural impact." The culture is confused. But impacted. Agile transformation isn't about being agile. It's about transforming. Continuously. Toward more transformation. The destination is the journey. The journey is billable.

I’m open for new challenges! Personal update: my current contract with Web3 Foundation ends in Jan 2026. Working every day to develop the Polkadot ecosystem has been the best time in my professional life so far. From Feb 2026 I'm open for new roles & consulting on ecosystem strategy, governance, and growth. DMs, intros, and RTs welcome! In this thread: - Thank You! - What I did - What I'm looking for - Who I'm a good fit for

A day in the life of a PAPI dev: - Wen libs for createTransaction? - Wen PAPI v2? - Bug in the compatibility API! - Wen papi-console improvements? - How tx with custom signed-extensions? - Wen better SDK docs? - Can you tweak the Bounties app? - Wen gateway/reverse-proxy? - Can your team take over Multix? - Wen W3F validator-selection integration? We actually love these pings. Seriously. We care about the work and the community. We’re also hiring external teams to ship faster. But we’re just 3 devs. So thanks for bearing with us. We’ll deliver for sure, even if not always as fast as we’d like, until we find a sustainable way to bring more devs into the team. 🙂

When did @paritytech become such a gang of chads?
Parity Technologies@paritytech

This Tuesday marks one of the most complex live upgrades ever attempted on a blockchain. @Polkadot's Asset Hub migration isn’t just complex; it’s industry-defying. As Jan Jan, Technical Program Manager at Parity, put it: “This project is incredibly hard, and the margin for error is zero. It’s only possible thanks to a world-class team of engineers and partners standing by across the globe."

Polkadot DevEx needs attention! Who is responsible for @polkadot Developer Experience (DevEx)? I'd like to learn more about what is being done in the ecosystem to attract and retain more devs. If you know someone that is actively working on this or have a way to contribute, drop a comment here. Great tech isn’t enough — without strong DevEx, builders won’t stay. Let's change that!

Dear Polkadot Community, At the last moment the majority of votes on our proposal has shifted to NAY. We genuinely believe that the Pop CLI is a tool that will greatly improve the developer experience in Polkadot. It is a tool the ecosystem truly needs. If we want applications, we need builders. If we want builders, we need to make their lives dramatically easier. Pop CLI is currently the only tool that does this for Polkadot: it simplifies, accelerates, and empowers developers to build parachains and smart contracts. This is how we go from fragmented tech to thriving applications, users, and liquidity. We would deeply appreciate your support. If you can vote, please do, or take a moment to reassess your vote. Every voice matters. Thank you in advance R0GUE polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/1619

Thank you to everyone who joined our PBA Alumni Reunion at the Funkhaus during @Web3Summit on Wednesday 👏 It was a brilliant evening celebrating 3 years since our first cohort in Cambridge! 🎓 We had presentations from: ☁️ Zachary Kornberg (PBA5) from @developer_dao presenting Cloud RPC - scalable blockchain infrastructure across multiple ecosystems. 📱 Rostislav Litovkin (PBA3) demoed @PlutoFramework, his all-in-one framework for web3 mobile apps with substrate as backend 🧑🏻‍💻 Polkadot Hub - Smart Contracts powered by XCM. A continuous learning lecture & workshop by our alumnus & now Parity engineer @Big_Tava (PBA5) 👀Plus a special announcement... an Alumni-only hackathon is coming soon x @paritytech to build smart contracts using @Polkadot XCM functionality (with a particular focus on DeFi, Entertainment, DePIN and AI verticals) More info soon Amazing to catch up with alumni, faculty, partners and friends during this event and the whole summit. Great to celebrate everyone's achievements, learn and see our community keep building! 💪

Zero failed deployments Every tester launched a complete rollup—build, registration, infrastructure running, coretime assigned—in under 30 minutes. That’s way faster than today’s experience on Polkadot Cloud.
