Same vision,different cities,same obsession. We asked: why is DOAC of @StevenBartlett , son of a Nigerian mother, born in Gaborone, the most streamed podcast on this continent? It's not just the algorithm. It's because depth sells,partnerships scale and consistency competes. He did 8 years. 50M monthly listeners. #2 on Spotify globally in 2025. Sanny has done 4yrs , just started making money recently. I told Sanny what I believe: Rogan needed 1,000 episodes. I'm in the work. @Bigconvospod isn't chasing virality ,it's building a body of work that will matter when the continent finally demands its own mirror. The IMF says we are richer because our GDP per capita went up, but our farmers are still using handheld hoes, Recent IMF data for April 2026, which projects Uganda’s GDP per capita at approximately $1,187, does technically place the country above the World Bank’s current lower-middle-income threshold (typically starting around $1,136-$1,145 GNI per capita) But; Real wealth is owning the value chain, not just hitting a numerical target on an IMF spreadsheet. Why are we celebrating a label given to us by the same institutions that keep us in a cycle of debt? Being 'Middle Income' by IMF standards is just a more expensive way to be poor We should measure our success by how much of our own soil we actually control.
