Dear Hon. @norbertmao , leadership is not only measured by victory at the ballot, but also by the courage to stand, compete, and continue serving with dignity even after a setback. Elections come and go, but your contribution, experience, and commitment to national service remain valuable and appreciated by many. loss simply prepares greater opportunities ahead. Stay strong, keep your head high, and continue inspiring those who believe in your vision and leadership. Wishing you strength and greater success in the journey ahead.💪

I’m in the race to the end. I will not join the wave of withdrawals. Months ago, like a soldier armed with nothing but a razor blade, I stormed the Bastille and with small consistent cuts secured a vital win for all the anti-corruption forces. How? By shaking the throne amidst opposition from the praise singers of Jezebel we forced the hand of powerful people to act in tandem with the sentiments of an outraged population. The cause for which I declared my candidature for the Position of Speaker of Parliament is an enduring cause. It doesn’t end with the casting of the vote tomorrow. I have crossed the Rubicon. Let the chips fall where they will. God is not deaf. God is not blind. God is not dumb. He hears, He sees and He speaks. God Bless the 12th Parliament. God Bless Uganda.

Respectfully, I think they were right on the call this time around. Martyr’s Day brings in hundreds of thousands of people from Eastern DRC where there’re thousands of known & unknown Ebola cases. Uganda does have Ebola, but it is still remote. Less than 10 cases, while there is a risk the Arsenal fans and their jubilation may spread it, that risk is remote compared to what pilgrims form Eastern DRC would have posed. For me this logic is sound.

When Ugandan living abroad generally speaking turn up in Kampala, they look like this. Even us we know! But guys, so Ebola fears Arsenal fans and only kills Uganda martyrs fans? You can tell where a country is going by how its citizenship reasons. Mindset.

@Thomas_Tayebwa apologises to the nation for lapses in the 11th Parliament. This was after he was endorsed by the National Resistance Movement parliamentary caucus as deputy speaker at State House, Entebbe, today (Sunday, May 24). #VisionUpdates

Ugandans don’t ask for miracles from the government. Among other things, we ask for 3 major services delivered exceptionally well: quality, affordable healthcare and education, and world-class infrastructure. Roads. Rail. Transport. The private sector will take it from there, creating jobs and paying taxes. Gen @mkainerugaba has now signaled that the UPDF will help transform Kampala’s roads into modern, world-class infrastructure — something the country has struggled with since independence. If he pulls it off, promote the man to Field Marshal!

Focused on culture, #POATE2026 we’ll exhibited culture as a unique selling product and that clearly shows the direction tourism is taking today. Uganda has something unique to offer the world through cultural tourism. Our heritage, traditions, food, music, storytelling, and way of life are authentic experiences many travelers are looking for. If we invest more in preserving and promoting our culture, we can build a stronger, more sustainable tourism brand that benefits communities, creates jobs, and gives Uganda a distinct identity on the global tourism map. Bravo @TourismBoardUg, @MTWAUganda ,@UgandaMFA ,@JulzKagwa ,@Ronkawamara @RMalango2021 @PSKatusiimeDor and @GovUganda for the tremendous contribution to the success of the event
