This is not NORMAL Bitcoin has crashed -49% and wiped out over $1.21 TRILLION from its market cap in the last 139 days. This is the first time in BTC history we’ve seen such a big drop (–$62,000) with 0 relief rally. Something has changed in the crypto market since the Oct 10 liquidation event.
$ADA update: Some thoughts over the weekend while I'm doing up another report (2026 has been HECTIC): 1. It's very encouraging to see that the market is willing to fight for the 2022 bear market bottom for $ADA 2. The positive case is we repeat what happened in the structure to the left. 3. However, we would like to have some positive rallies, so that the eventual buyer exhaustion will cause $ADA to just come back down to the 2022 bottom. This selloff has been brutal for the market. No reprieve whatsoever in counter rallies. If you're cool as a cucumber during these times, you'll be alright. Just gotta weather the storm. If getting rich was easy, then everyone will be.

El Salvador is moving the funds from a single Bitcoin address into multiple new, unused addresses as part of a strategic initiative to enhance the security and long-term custody of the National Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. This action aligns with best practices in Bitcoin management and prepares for potential developments in quantum computing. Quantum computers have the theoretical capability to break public-private key cryptography using Shor’s algorithm. This cryptography underpins not only Bitcoin but also many daily systems like banking, email, and communications. When a Bitcoin transaction is signed and broadcast, the public key becomes visible on the blockchain, potentially exposing the address to quantum attacks that could discover private keys and redirect funds before the transaction confirms. The reserve is being redistributed into multiple addresses, each holding up to 500 BTC. Limiting funds in each address reduces exposure to quantum threats because an unused Bitcoin address with hashed public keys remains protected. Once funds are spent from an address, its public keys are revealed and vulnerable. By splitting funds into smaller amounts, the impact of a potential quantum attack is minimized. Previously, a single address was reused for transparency, exposing public keys continuously and theoretically giving a quantum attacker unlimited time to discover private keys. Now, with a public dashboard managed by The Bitcoin Office capable of monitoring multiple addresses, the reserve can maintain transparency without address reuse, enhancing security. This approach combines robust quantum risk mitigation through address diversification and limited exposure per address with a commitment to transparency by publicly cataloging all reserve addresses. This strategy strengthens the integrity and future-proofing of El Salvador’s National Strategic Bitcoin Reserve against evolving technological threats. 마운트 곡스의 7월 상환 공식 발표로 시장이 다시 반응하고 있습니다. ETF 자금 흐름과 마찬가지로 마운트곡스 물량 또한 같은 관점에서 구체적으로 살펴봐야합니다. 이제 단순히 물량 이동 움직임은 누구든지 알 수 있습니다. 구체적으로 이 물량이 어디로 어떻게 이동되고 어떻게 팔리는지 알아야 합니다. 지금 진행되고 있는 기간 횡보 속에 대부분의 대규모 물량은 장외에서 이뤄지고 있습니다. 이 물량이 거래소로 들어왔다면, 이미 가격은 52k 까지 내려 갔을거라고 생각합니다. 이러한 횡보 구간 속에 물량을 축적하고 있는 고래가 탈출하지 않는다면, 쉽게 횡보 구간은 깨지지 않을 것이고, 채굴자들은 지금 이 상황을 그냥 구경할 수 있는 상황이 아닙니다. 이번 하락은 아마 신규 투자자들에게 시장이 쉽지 않다는것을 확실하게 알려주고 정리하는 시간이 될 수 있습니다. 지켜봐야겠지만, 확실한 정리가 될 것 같습니다. 현재 하락에는 고래의 강한 매도 흔적이 보이지 않습니다. 즉, 불안하고 답답한 일반 투자자들이 견디지 못해 던지는 전형적인 패닉셀 현상이라고 생각합니다. 그렇다면, 이러한 움직임을 고래는 다시 한번 기회로, 유동성 확보의 기회로 만들 가능성이 높습니다. 이럴때일수록 기준이 있는 사람과 없는 사람의 심리는 완전히 다릅니다. 저는 여기서 아쉬운점은 하나밖에 없습니다. 한번 더 가격을 흔들면서 작년 횡보 구간과 유사하게 흘러가고 있다는 점.
