@Bigmilly_ @secnumbersguy Yeah again ranked high for no reason, and only win during the beginning of the season was over a dismantled Michigan team..thanks again for proving my point.

@secnumbersguy There’s 1 difference in the top 4. Bama Georgia and lsu actually deserved to be number 1. Texas didn’t do jack shit but get hyped up by all these dumbass “analysts”.

@Fennelly64 No, it's because they didn't have any big wins in conf play. Texas beat 3 top 15 teams, including 2 playoff teams. If they had scheduled a cupcake instead of Ohio State, they would have been in the playoffs at 10-2. If ND had played Miami (Oh) instead of Miami, they'd be in.

@Bigmilly_ There were multiple 10 win teams that did not make the playoffs because they had weak schedules.

The idea that teams aren't rewarded for having quality wins is the most asinine, dead-brained opinion one could conceivably have in this discussion.
‏ً@KalenDeboeurner

@On3 @AriWasserman We should , what’s the point in playing it if we’re not gonna get rewarded for winning it and penalized if we lose it? No point

@JohnScott841686 And that opinion is based on them beating up on mid to bad teams late in the season.

Notre Dame missed the CFP 2 months ago for not having quality wins. Respectfully, what the hell are you talking about?
〽️~BlueCrue~〽️@bluecrue_MI

@On3 @AriWasserman As long as we allow Notre Dame to schedule cupcakes and walk into the playoff, this is going to happen more and more.

@Fennelly64 I'm of the opinion that as long as 10+ wins even if you have a weak schedule can possibly get you into the playoffs, then no need to risk playoff chances by scheduling tough ooc games.

@Bigmilly_ Okay so is it your opinion that all other performances should be considered null and void and we should only take into consideration 3/12 of their games?

@cfbtalk07 Tbh, even if he won't say it, I think Ari is only concerned with the "blue bloods" or big brand programs doing it. The Georgias, Bamas, NDs, Texases, etc. of the world. Nobody cares that Indiana or Texas Tech schedules ooc cupcakes because nobody cares about those programs.

@Alexand51765203 @AriWasserman I’m talking about how Indiana showed America what you should do to provide the easiest path. Cancel every big non con which they did. Schedule the easiest 4 you can get and that’s the strategy they have done and have lost 2 games in 2 years.

The other thing people don’t seem to understand is if your nonconference loss is your third loss, you’re probably not winning the national title anyway. If you need to avoid playing a tough team cause you’re afraid of 3 times in a season, don’t worry — you don’t need to worry about the national title.
🏆 The Attack Sheet (TAS Stormblessed)@AttackSheet

@AriWasserman Yes but is it more likely you’ll lose to Ohio state or Ohio, ari?

@Fennelly64 Getting something for doing something that only one, or no, other program on that team's schedule was able to do. Texas had three such wins like that. Their "reward" for it was they got to be ranked above a couple teams that got to 10 wins beating a bunch of 5+ loss teams.

@SamHunt_4 @CFBNerds @AriWasserman All 3 of these were 2 loss teams. Texas was ahead of all of them despite being awful in half of their games. I agree we should value schedule strength but without an objective metric there is no method for doing so.
