Today, we're excited to launch Bigscreen Beyond 2! BREAKTHROUGH OPTICS 116° field of view edge-to-edge clarity massive sweet spot reduced lens glare increased brightness 16% lighter, now just 107 GRAMS. And, eyetracking. For improved shareability, we added Adjustable IPD and a new Halo Mount with a Universal-Fit Lightseal. Bigscreen Beyond packs in ultra-high resolution micro-OLED displays (2560x2560 per eye) and SteamVR tracking. Order now, and the first batch ships in April 2025.

BIG NEWS! A few weeks ago, we quietly achieved our biggest production milestone yet: Bigscreen Beyond 2 ships in 1–3 days! In many cases, new orders ship SAME DAY! After announcing Beyond 2 a year ago (March 2025), we were shocked with unprecedented demand 3-4X more than we expected. We spent the past year scaling our production operations both overseas and in our Los Angeles factory. We've grew our team, automated production and quality control using computer vision, fixed bugs and issues, and improved our yields, optimizing every step of our manufacturing pipeline. Thanks to all the hard work by the Bigscreen team, we have successfully caught up with global demand and fulfilled our backlog of orders. We've now shipped tens of thousands of headsets to customers around the world! We want to thank all of our customers for supporting us on our development journey, and especially grateful for those who waited months to receive their Beyonds in the early days as we ramped up mass production. We now have consistent weekly production and sufficient inventory to maintain fast shipping through out the year ahead.

Today, we're releasing a Holiday Production Update! Reflecting back on 2025, we had an incredible year: ∙ We didn't anticipate this level of demand for Beyond 2 last year. It took us months to catch up to the preorder backlog. Leadtimes are improving, with many orders now shipping within a couple of weeks. By February/March, new orders will ship within 1-2 days! ∙ The Beyond 2 production line has been continuously running since summer 2025. To support our enterprise customers and the SteamVR ecosystem, we're committed to producing Beyond 2 for many years to come ∙ We shipped more Beyond 2s last month alone than we did in 2023 or 2024! ∙ Beyond 2 is climbing the Steam charts in usage, surpassing the HTC Vive Pro and hopefully the Meta Quest Pro soon ∙ we launched Dynamic Foveated Rendering (DFR) for major performance improvements with Beyond 2e. So far, I cannot recommend the @BigscreenVR Beyond 2e. Since I've gotten it this week, the eyetracking does not work (don't see the Bigeye device at all in devmgmt) and now I seem to be having SteamVR init failures randomly.

There is a return policy and a customer support team (all of whom were customers first before they joined the team!). The team helps you customize and configure it to make sure it works for you well! The exact return policy varies by location/distributor, but it's generally a couple of weeks, and limited to ~20 hours of device usage. The custom-fit cushion and prescription lenses has a restocking fee as those are custom-made parts.

👀 BIG UPDATE! Dynamic Foveated Rendering (DFR) is now available in Early Access on the Bigscreen Beyond 2e! By using eyetracking to render full resolution only where you look, DFR unlocks massive performance gains in demanding titles, basically giving you a GPU upgrade just via this new software feature! DFR is great for demanding flight and racing sim games. We have internally tested and confirmed compatibility today for DCS World (@eagledynamics), Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (@MSFSofficial), and @iRacing. Popular VR games like Kayak VR (@btl_sandwich) and Pavlov are also supported!

Probably the most exciting thing I have datamined from SteamVR in YEARS: Valve is adding Eye Tracking-based perspective correction directly into SteamVR itself! Which allows dynamic correction for some distortions caused by optics! Also gazed based reprojection! Absolutely HUGE

⚠️ Early Access Expectations Because this is an Early Access feature, we want to set the right expectations. Latency & Accuracy: We are regularly improving this with weekly and monthly updates. Be sure to keep your Beyond Utility updated. Fit & Alignment: Accurate DFR depends on precise alignment. If you change your cushion / strap / IPD, you have to train a new eyetracking model. You can store multiple models. Reseating (putting the headset back on): If the tilt, angle, or tightness differs from when you made the model, accuracy will drop. You may need to physically tilt/shift the headset to align with your model. See the Setup Guide (linked below) for step-by-step instructions on verifying alignment. This process will become more robust and automated in future updates.

DECEMBER PRODUCTION UPDATE! This December is our largest month of shipping in the company's history. Our factory is running nights, weekends, and overtime shifts to get as many Beyond 2 units shipped by the holidays as possible. Unsurprisingly, we've already shipped more Beyond 2 than Beyond 1 over its 2-year lifetime. But the volume is picking up! We have shipped more Beyond 2's in just the past 2 weeks than we did in the previous 2 months. In fact, we are on track to ship more Beyond 2's this December than we typically do in an entire year!

Tried out VR #StarCitizen and I gotta say it's incredible! It runs really smooth with my rig and I'm using the @BigscreenVR Beyond as my headset. My screenshots don't do justice to the insane amount of detail and thought put into environments and ships. The scale feels tangible
