We are calling on state leadership to ramp up point-of-sale enforcement that would prevent sales of these dangerous E-Motos. The laws we helped to pass are clear and strong. Removing class three e-bikes from being accessible to everyday Minnesotans is harmful and shortsighted.

What happened in Hastings was a preventable tragedy & no electric assist bikes (e-bikes) were involved. Thank you to @kare11 for being the 1st media org to actually delve into how the vehicle that hit and harmed Janet Stotko was & is illegal to purchase and operate in MN.

MNDoT has every capability to move away from the outdated 85th Percentile design standard that has been proven to induce unsafe speeds. Signs are cute, but real action is what our state needs.

@WedgeLIVE Strong likelihood that less than $1.2B has been spent building out dedicated bike infrastructure in the entire state since 2014. That's bridges and tunnel money. We have tier 1 cities that have less than $100M spending in on their entire bike networks.

Lydia Millard seems to believe literally in the existence of a War on Cars. Speaking about pedestrian, bike, and transit improvements, she says "We are penalizing the majority of the people that live in this neighborhood to cater to a very small minority."

When I endorse, I like to do it closer to the election, but since I'm a delegate at tomorrow's Ward 10 convention, I'll tell you I am supporting Aisha Chughtai for the DFL endorsement for Minneapolis City Council.
