@tinned_toms @bathnes Yup, fair point on who benefits most from bike hangars - people living in flats and apartments need prioritisation. That said, existing demand is coming from those may terrace houses already able to own and store bikes (still a bit awkwardly).

@BikeMayorBath @bathnes I like them, but some are in slightly bonkers locations. One near me is on a residential road, terraces both sides, level access to every house from the lanes into garages/sheds. When so many people I know cannot have cargo bikes because they lack level access, this is mad?

Success for on-street secure bike storage, Bath just doubled its fleet of hangars by adding 21 across the city (because current stock was at capacity). Neat process involved communities putting dots on maps requesting/suggesting on their placement. Thanks @bathnes
