I may not agree with Green voters, but deliberately placing deportation centres in areas that vote against you as political punishment is vindictive and counterproductive. You don’t win people over by threatening them. It’ll also put people in serious danger.
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

If you vote Reform you will not have an illegal migrant deportation facility in your area. We will hold migrants awaiting deportation in constituencies that vote Green instead. You get what you vote for.

@SirSimonClarke Simon confirms what we all knew having illegals moved into your communities is a punishment. Reform has played a blinder in flushing out the fuckers who wouldn’t been seen dead near an illegal.

We need to stop illegal immigration, but this is abhorrent from Reform. Zia is proposing the siting of detention centres expressly as a form of political punishment for people and places that don’t vote Reform - not just Green, but presumably Conservative, Liberal and Labour too. (And what about Reform voters in those constituencies?) It would almost certainly be deemed an abuse of ministerial power for political purposes, and as such would likely be stuck down in court before ever being implemented, wasting millions for the taxpayer without detaining anyone. If it were to go ahead, it would still represent an appalling waste of public money as these sites might well not be in any way suitable for the proposed centres, or near the other infrastructure required. What’s worse is that he is doing all this to provoke outrage and draw attention to Reform a few days out from the local elections. Reform know what they are doing. But this goes beyond a pre-election stunt. It’s declared as a major policy commitment, and should be treated as such. We need a proper plan to leave the ECHR and restore safe border controls, not gimmicks that wouldn’t survive first contact with reality.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

Today we announce a new policy: In order to deport all illegal migrants in Britain, Reform will need to detain tens of thousands at a time. Migrants will not be able to leave these detention centres, and each will be held there a couple of weeks before being deported. So here’s our promise: A Reform government will not put any migrant detention facilities in any constituency with a Reform MP. Nor will we put them where Reform controls the council. And of the remaining areas, we will prioritise Green controlled parliamentary constituencies and Green controlled councils to locate the detention centres. Put simply, if you vote in a Reform council or Reform MP, we guarantee you won’t have a detention centre near you. If you vote Green, there’s a good chance you will. This is an important exercise in democratic consent, not just for our mass deportation policy, but for where the detention centres are placed. Given @ZackPolanski openly advocates for open borders, I look forward to their warm embrace of this policy. votegreengetillegals.com

Nigel Farage has committed prosecutable election offences with this video under the Representation of the People Act 1983. The Act prohibits inducing voters through the threat of “temporal injury”, which includes material disadvantage such as the targeted imposition of government burdens. Threatening to specifically house illegal migrants in a constituency if it does not vote Reform is coercive and constitutes a criminal offence.

Reform’s policy of retribution and punishment should be a warning to everyone thinking of voting for them. To say they will put detention camps in constituencies where people vote Green might have sounded really tough and clever when they were all in their cups on the fifth bottle but it’s thuggish, unworkable and reveals the true nastiness of Zia and Reform. We can all save ourselves from the risk of these policies by making sure they do not get into power and bankrupt and mutilate this country.

Here are a few reasons... Since the General Election: Inflation is up Unemployment is up, at 10 year highs Youth unemployment is massively up Business closures up Deindustrialisation up Energy bills up even before Iran Gilt yields higher The benefits bill is now higher than income tax receipts And we have the highest tax burden since the 1940s Plus...under @Keir_Starmer... Two people with close links to pedophiles were promoted to high office His ex deputy is in hot water with HMRC One minister resigned because she turned out to be a literal criminal His anti corruption minister has been convicted overseas of corruption A homelessness minister had to resign over evicting tenants A heath minister resigned after hoping a constituent would die Another Labour MP resigned after punching a constituent in the face 6x A Labour MP was suspended after being arrested for sex offences The Business Secretary thought he was a solicitor when he wasn't His Chancellor seems extremely confused about her work history. She also failed to get a licence to rent her property Multiple ministers including the PM accepted gifts including clothes from donors despite earning more than double what most people earn The Attorney General has failed to act on conflicts of interest and supported baseless lawfare against British soldiers The Labour Welsh First Minister was forced to resign over so many allegations of corruption it's hard to know where to start typing them On top of all that there's the cronyism, firing officials without due process, and the Chinese spying case

I really hope after the last few months of the relentless onslaught on Keir Starmer by the Right wing media. People are starting to look at why they are attacking him. It is because they want to stop people seeing what Labour are achieving for the Country. Read on my friends.
