Two years later, California has finally admitted that giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants was a bad and unaffordable idea. Starting today, California will no longer allow illegal immigrants to enroll in free healthcare. Huge victory for tax-paying citizens!

Correct. Under Operation Guardian Angel, pioneered by my office, local jails have no choice but to comply with our lawful orders to hand over criminal illegal immigrants. This is a good thing.

Today, United States DOJ @CivilRights under the leadership of @AAGDhillon and my office sued the California Department of Education and CIF for their ongoing violations of Title IX. Their discriminatory practice of mandating schools to allow boys to compete against girls is illegal, disenfranchises girls’ opportunities, and endangers their privacy, dignity, and safety. California must comply with Title IX and end its civil rights violations against women. No person, no state, is above the law.

BREAKING: The Trump Department of Justice has just filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles, arguing its sanctuary policies violate the Supremacy Clause by intentionally discriminating against the federal gov by treating federal immigration officers differently than other law enforcement. DOJ is asking that LA’s sanctuary policies be enjoined/blocked from being enforced. Attorney General @AGPamBondi statement to @FoxNews: "Sanctuary policies were the driving cause of the violence, chaos, and attacks on law enforcement that Americans recently witnessed in Los Angeles. Jurisdictions like Los Angeles that flout federal law by prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens are undermining law enforcement at every level – it ends under President Trump.” Excerpt from lawsuit: "Sanctuary City laws and policies are designed to deliberately impede federal immigration officers’ ability to carry out their responsibilities in those jurisdictions. The Los Angeles Ordinance and other policies intentionally discriminate against the Federal Government by treating federal immigration authorities differently than other law enforcement agents through access restrictions both to property and to individual detainees, by prohibiting contractors and sub-contractors from providing information, and by disfavoring federal criminal laws that the City of Los Angeles has decided not to comply with. The Supremacy Clause prohibits the City of Los Angeles and its officials from singling out the Federal Government for adverse treatment—as the challenged law and policies do—thereby discriminating against the Federal Government. Accordingly, the law and policies challenged here are invalid and should be enjoined."

This morning @AAGDhillon and my office filled a lawsuit against Orange County for refusing to hand over records showing non-citizens are registered to vote and received ballots in federal elections. The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) is federal law and CA must comply.
